I guess they forgot about how terrible people are, so I was sick of having 5dps groups on QP, queued for LFG and got one team leader that was screaming from the start about how everyone but him was an idiot and the 2nd team left as soon as we got into a match and i ended up back with 5dps locked into playing support. and it seemed to go downhill from there really.
it seems there’s nothing that can really be done to stop people just being a nuisance lol
If you base all this post on 1 bad encounter maybe you should try another one ! Most of my games using LFG is really nice now !
QP is far better now, no doubt about that !
BTW, you can report someone who has bad manners on chat too ^^
I love the idea of 2-2-2 being locked from the beginning instead of the forced roles thingy groups have. Haven’t grouped up a single time and I don’t think I’ve missed much.

If I understood you correctly, you are suggesting that you can not only force roles but rather force composition.
That sound’s like a great Idea but it might be difficult to execute.
How, for example, would 2 players switch mid game? Both of them would have to switch at the same time so a “role slot” gets free.

The problem is that everyone uses the LFG system, both kind people, and annoying ones.
It’s either hit or miss but at least you can find groups with a similar mindset. Your chances are also better when you have a higher endorsement level.
This post is good on paper but it’s completely anecdotal.
I myself have probably never had as much fun with the game as I’m having now.

There literally is no path for conversation from this point on, it just turns into an unproductive rant thread. If you just named it something like “rant thread” and didn’t target the LFG system it would be fine but you targetted the LFG system and then started ranting as if it was the LFG systems fault and not this community being crappy as always.
Edit: I don’t believe playing too much DPS makes you a crappy person, I was talking about the ‘being annoying and whining all game’ part.

My “whine sob” post was probably as productive as the post of the author and your reply to my “whine sob” comment. You can call it a troll post (which I disagree that it is, a bit harsh maybe, but not a troll post) and report but that doesn’t make this post or your reply any more significant, and my point any less valid.

About the upsetting part, the post literally called people who make lobbies he disagrees with a nuisance, and my post is upsetting? There’s a reason why I’d consider the OP’s thread not trolling: His post was a complaint about the LFG system and he even had a reason for his opinion.
If you look at the other replies, they all were moving the discussion forward, even the one who said that the OP’s post is mainly “anecdotal”
But not yours. You chose to express your context in an upsetting manner, using the “rude post by the OP” as an excuse. It wasn’t supporting the opinion, it wasn’t opposing it, it wasn’t a passive comment. It was just a direct insult to the OP, calling him a “crybaby”.

And the problem is we disagree that there can be any productive conversation about a complaint about the LFG system based on nothing but anecdotal complaining and calling players a nuisance because he got into a match he didn’t like. The post calling his post anecdotal, in my eyes, works as a justification to me making fun of the terrible post.
And I could take a troll’s post and flag it and say nothing, and I could just say something equally as dumb if I want to just to slap him back, freedom of speech right. If I truly am trolling then the mods will do something about it, don’t worry.
And again, his post was as “”"“upsetting”""" as mine, he calls people a nuisance that I think is undeserved (regarding the 5 dps part) and I called him a crybaby, big whoop.
here if you read it, i specifically blamed people, the system works on paper because in reality it’s the people that ruin it, and i specifically said the 5dps problem was nothing to do with LFG
