It’s ropey true, hard to enforce and far too many work arounds.
Blizz only removed them with OW2 because they weren’t forced to.

We have to keep fighting, there is solutions. Removing legendary from battlepass is the absence of solution. They should care about their players more than ever. So let’s hope they see this topic and do something about it
Roku in a nutshell.
Roku: please give me the facts…
Also Roku: whats a fact?
Aww. Fan club!!
Anyways. I wasn’t wrong… As it’s about who it introduces to gambling. Belgium takes a very dim view.
Also thinking it’s a morally bankrupt ideas and blizzard should be open criticised for it, is the correct view too.
What a joke, even the discord quest for lootbox is unavailable for Belgium. Since when it’s paid lootbox ? At this point they dont just care anymore about Belgium, they dont even try…
They are in the premium battle pass.
Belgium is right in this one though. Take the moral victory.
Discord quest isnt linked to any battlepass, premium or free. This is just another bullsh*t from Blizzard. I can understand the logic behind blocked legendary lootbox in battlepass free or premium. Even it they should just rework the whole new lootbox system. But blocking a discord quest is just a joke really.
It’s because of the battle pass, they’ve region locked loot boxes in all modes.
The Belgian rules aren’t really about buying, they are about influencing people.
The Belgian players should get something else as an alternative. But morally they win.
No it isn’t lmao. I don’t think you even know what gambling means since you always get the meaning wrong. Read a book
Another PEGI 7 game released on Belgium last month filled with loot boxes:

Guess the trick is calling it “chests” instead “loot boxes”
Pretty much how EA got away with it in the UK. Called it a “chance mechanic”, paid the Tory government a little money and boom… case went away.
They were clueless… But it could be worse. Could be what the US has to deal with now. But thats for another discussion.
The irony in this…
You thought the 14 years of Tory government was impressive? fair play to you. Personally I can’t stand them.
But I have morals.
Because you don’t understand anything, at all.
Anything. Yet I was right on this. Belgium + gambling = no boxes.
But loot boxes aren’t gambling?
Belgium says otherwise. (So did the UK until EA confused the simple tories, they only know how to rage bait with misinformation now poor people).
You are confusing loot boxes being gambing, with you not caring about it. Which is totally fine btw, you are entitled to your own morals and rules. But the Belgians were right on this one.
Source? Ofc, you can never provide any sources that didn’t happen lol.
Loot boxes aren’t gambling unless you’re paying for it? Getting a loot box as a reward isn’t gambling. Not hard to understand.
Belgium bans them…

EA… “surprise mechanics”

UK government being called out last year

That is indeed your view. You have made that clear. My moral objection is introducing kids to gambling and gambling mechanics is gross. I’ve watched a friend take his own because of that terrible addiction. So I personally think they need to be booted into the sun.
I get it that you think otherwise, I hope you never have to see what I saw.
And, from the gambling commision themselves.

Only the then morally bankrupt tory government stopped them being banned despite all concerns raised. They want the rules changed, and they should be. ASAP.
