Without looking into it, my first guess would be different audience. Would suggest OW has an older audience. Interesting that the MR player numbers are down about 20% from the last couple of days at the same time. About 100k players gone (on steam only, no idea about console for now)
I don’t think they give much value to twitch numbers. That is purely a who’s popular on twitch thing. If you get one of the big creators playing your game, you get good numbers. Overwatch is a little old these days, doesn’t carry the same appeal for people who do content for business purposes.
(Although if you think about it (rather than the trolling you’re doing), a game that is only played through steam by a tiny % of the overall playerbase, still being in the top 100 is actually quite impressive. So well done for highlighting how well it’s done)
Pretty impressive considering barely anyone plays it on steam.
Yeah it’s doing well, it’s good to see. Hopefully the 20% drop in players is purely the natural new game type stuff and not a sign of anything problematic.
Both games doing well is good for all. Having a choice over what to play is good.
Funny because the other day you were blaming chineses for OW negative reviews on steam. We may have different definitions of trolling.
He just posted a fact.
It isn’t. And you shouldn’t want it to. Even if you don’t play it and play MR 100%. Both being successful greatly increases the chance of changes being made faster.
They were a major factor in that yes. Another, the farms review bombed the game Devotion because of one joke about their president.
Warframe got it too because they nerfed a Chinese character.
