Most skilless hero to you

if it wasn’t for the insane amounts of damage being spammed at them causing their HP to drop to 0 in a millisecond, and them being constantly stunlocked, and bashed around, and not to mention nerfed into the ground by whinging DPS players who don’t want to shoot at barriers… while not understanding that the barriers protect them as well

maybe you would get more tanks…

the only way to survive as a tank is if your entire team works perfectly together, and im sorry i don’t enjoy being a punching bag for the DPS smurfs on the other team…

oh hey I can post again? noice

anyways Moira probably

yeah i agree, it’s just how the game is setup honestly, there’s very little individuality due to how the objectives and maps are made that have pushed the balancing in a direction towards a full teamwork based game design

which means the only characters with any individuality at all is some dps that does things on their own merits.

i don’t think that promotes fun in any meaningful way for tanks or supports really.

i mean tanking is ok, but it’s basically pointless unless you play competitive and even then it’s gonna be a slog to get to a proper rank where it matters more what you do.

aye… but blizzard wont listen, too busy giving those few DPS players what they want

nerfing barriers, supports etc

I personally think support players are a ridiculous idea so is barriers. FPS should be mostly DPS based with very little defensive magic.
To the OPs question I think genji and brig are pretty skilless. You may thunk genji is aim based but he really isn’t i’ts mostly a mechanical skill to push 2 buttons.

its not an FPS, its a hero shooter

Hero shooter sounds like apple pilot.Just a meaningless phrase repeated over and over. Use mouse to aim, use mouse to shoot. When you shoot hard enough target dies. Looks pretty FPS for me.

Rein, Brig, Winston, <— use mouse to shoot?..

aight, let me know how that works out for you

Yes, this game has FPS elements in the fact that some heros have guns that shoot… but it is so much more than that

Abilitys, different weapons, different Classifications of heros it is not just an FPS

CoD is an FPS, gun - shoot <---- thats it, nothing else

Overwatch is a hero shooter Gun - Shoot - Jump - Block - Fly - Control - deny - Yank - Stun - Boop - Heal - Buff - Debuff ect ect ect…

to me the game have more in common with mmo arenas, like wow battlegrounds than actual fps games.

if it truly was a pure fps game, characters like tracer wouldn’t be allowed due to how many fundamental fps rules that character breaks.
so wouldn’t really reinhardt either work either because he’s not really shooting anything is he, and his gameplay is centered around his shield/barrier which doesn’t make sense in a pure fps game.

but that’s not what overwatch is.

it’s an amalgamation of mmo arena with long cooldowns and super powerful abilities and objective gameplay coupled with arena fps with weird and fast paced gunplay.

and due to how the game was originally introduced, it’s been molded more and more into a very teamwork heavy game with crazy and devestating abilities that can change the battlefield at the drop of a hat.

it’s a spectacle i think more so than competitive really.
