It’s interesting seeing this old post and how frustrated I was with the game a few months ago. I guess learning not to care so much really has its advantages. Now I just see Overwatch as a video game past time, a hobby, like playing a musical instrument, going for a run, etc. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Nothing is.
so you are basically complaining about better players killing you and you complain heroes for that ? wow nice also let me tell you something overwatch never was dying just because some whiney crybabies “quit/ take break” from game doesn’t mean that game is dying there is 40mil copies sold and no one knows how many thousands or millions play right now so if you quit and consider game as dead keep that negativity for yourself thanks. ( edit: also you said brig needs skill ? i saw mercy onetrick stuck in 2.8k in season 16 and in season 17 she was onetricking brigitte with 80% winrate and was 3800 so please lol is this a troll post ? )
heroes like moira and symmetra are ruining the meta as they require ZERO skill, aim or practice. I can go into a match play moira, a healer! and get 5 gold stars and play of the game. These no brains heroes ruin the game for other players who practice and practice to be good at their main. Fix it Blizzard!

I have been playing since Day 1. And people have been saying this exact thing since, you guessed it, Day 1.
Sooo…when is it going to die, exactly? Would love to put it down in my calendar, thanks.
The game is losing players, just look at the time it takes to find games these days.
That being said, it’s kind of normal considering they haven’t added a whole lot worth playing since release.
Also hero tuning is a problem, they tune for esports. They don’t tune for the average player, which makes certain heroes just way to powerfull.

The game already died as soon as they started introducing new heroes.
As a lifetime gamer for over 25 years here is what i learned from Blizzard games: Play them as much as you can UNTIL the first major patch. Because as soon as they start “balancing” stuff its all over. Once they mess with it they create new problems and it starts to become a downwards spiral. Happened to WoW, OW and even HS. Before the first major patch i was playing OW non-stop every day. I even had to take a week off from work to focus on this game. It was absolutely phenomenal. But then the patch with Ana released, and it was over. Because with Ana they introduced CC in the meta game. After that the game has become a CC sh.tshow rather than a shooter game.
Blizzard is not the company it was 15 years ago. The devs are incompetent, the writers has no vision, the managers dont care about their players / customers. The only thing that is still top tier quality in Blizzard is their art team, they are still doing an amazing job maybe even better than ever before.
So keep your expectations low, you wont be disappointed as much in the future.
