because there is just not the complete list of IPs…I had 6 ranges of IPs in my firewall and I have just been in a game in ME (instant trash talked for playing Ana and asking if it was ME server btw), so for those who wants the (maybe new?) IP, it was:
15.184.43.214 (you can see IP by doing ctrl+shift+N in game)

It picks the server based on whats closest for most of the players in the game.
If you are in the ME region, or keep getting put on there… then the solution is easy… group up with 5 others from western Europe, then you will be forced on to the “main” EU servers. Which are in Holland I think, or at least used to be.
I’m in the us and my fiancee is in the middle east. We like playing in europe because it’s an easy middle ground. once the ME server was on, they didnt give it a new name, so everytime i connect to europe it goes to the middle east.
Basically it ruined the game for either one of us at a given time.
Dude i made a post about that too and i was Frustrated about it and one of the blizzard support told me to calm down and take a break because i am aggressive i am dealing with the same Things you mentioned Toxic/Trastalkers/No Vc/ and in qp So many Leavers and Smurfs and instead of trying to fix the problem and i didn’t pay for this and i never asked for ME servers i was So Happy with how i was playing good in Eu with 160+ms and he said to take a break and in my post i said i wanna k.m.s and he said i take that Very Seriously and he would Flag this whole post cuz of that and then many people replyed but eh Blizzard just avoided that post THE ME Servers Are an Abomination - General Discussion - Overwatch Forums This one and This one i did like a week ago Middle East Servers - General Discussion - Overwatch Forums

I’m a player from Europe and blizzards sometimes randomly decides to put me on ME servers where i have 160+ ping instead of my usual 27 ping and i have 0 say in this on pc. If blizzard is so desperate to fill the servers that they need to use players from other servers, giving them a horrible ranked experience, is it really better if they made this server?
What other servers?
If they get Asian players to play on ME they’d be at 200ish ping. and they’d have to actively choose to play on EU to even be considered.
South Africans have to play on the EU servers and are forced to play 140ms.
The EU players are the best option, as the ME server is a sub server in the EU region.
wish I was good at aiming 
Been playing on the EU servers since the beta in 2016. Overwatch had been my favourite videogame since then.
That is until I moved to the Middle East a month ago. Here is why:
- Leavers: Lost the point at the start? People leave instantly. Got killed by an enemy Widowmaker? More leavers! There is hardly ever you press Tab and you see a full 5v5 game. Every. Single. Game.
- AFK: People go AFK all the time. Having a player down was already difficult when it was 6v6, now with a player fewer, it is pretty much game over.
- Zero communication: No pinging, not even basic communication. Everyone playing solo.
- Bad sportsmanship: Nobody says hi. Nobody says ‘thank you’. People swear at each other, their mom’s etc. at the end of every game. Healers not only get credit for healing but get flamed all the time. I’ve literally not met a single player with an endorsement level of 3 or above here!
Can’t wait to play back home.
This game is dead if you ask me. Been broken for years.
