Please, keep in mind this is the technical support forum. This is no place to have discussions about refunds or laws. If you feel you’re entitled a refund, you’ll have to directly contact Customer Support and discuss your options with them.
On the other hand, please keep in mind it makes it incredibly harder for us to provide support or follow up cases when you’re posting on several threads about the same issue. Furthermore, it violates the forum’s Code of Conduct.
That said, let’s go into looking for solutions for people with this error.

I’ve also seen cases where overlays where causing this error. If you have any program that has overlays (Discord is probably the most common), make sure you deactivate them. I’d also try closing background applications to make sure there’s no other program interfering with the game:
