Season 10 - Full banned after playing since come out

Majority of times the ticket responses are automated responses and not personal replies. Those who have created them i think they are aware of þhis issue already to.

Any further update regarding this? It’s now been some time since we last had an update and an even longer time that this issue has been going on for.

When will there be another statement? They are investigating a server issue that hinders tousands of players to play comp beacuse they got seasonal bans.

I’m really frustrated because I’ve been banned from Overwatch 2 for no reason at all. I’ve been a loyal player for years and I’ve never engaged in any cheating or misconduct. It’s really discouraging how we have had no update or communication from the team.

I was playing with no issues yesterday. I had no server issues so I didn’t disconnect or leave. No 15 minute bans. Logged back in today and now I am banned?

I didn’t get banned but I got disconnected twice in ranked. It took so long to get back into the game because it even made battle.net act up and I couldn’t reconnect. Resulted in 15 min penalty/suspension and afraid to touch comp now.

Compensated? They just doesn’t care, but now because the system is banning people because THEIR LACK of programing for fixing a system that doesn’t know why you are disconnected. So now they need to spent money, people, and real programing to improve these, because with these new ban system is gonna happen more and more. So they know NOW that if they don’t fix these is gonna be more and more people on FORUMS and negative reviews on STEAM, etc. Losing SR/MMR after their server crash disconnection never WAS addressed.

I hope now they put some new blood on the company for programing a better disconnection/server algorithm.

Because they don’t want to improve support. Just more skins, battle pass, and more money making system. Same as Call Of duty, skins, etc and the game is full of BUGS.
Overwatch is a little bit better for HACKING detection, etc. But their support is awful.

Same issue - yesterday (23.04) server lags, wasn’t able to join and rejoin the match. After that - 15 minutes ban. Not a problem.

But today - ban for a whole season… What the hell…?

Same problem like all of you, yesterday 8pm mirrormatch event launch, try to play comp and can’t connect, 15 min ban and the next day perma season banned :confused:

Yesterday I got some server errors trying to play Mirrorwatch (not even comps!!!) and now i’m banned for this season. I opened a ticket and I also received an automatic answer…
Hope they fix it…

Same with me.
Got a game, never got into the game and recieved a message that said “Failed to connect to server”. I got a 15 minute ban,m fair enough. I wait it out, and play a few more games before I go off. I get back on a few hours later, and I recieved a full season 10 ban.

And also, I tried to tweet the customer support, but figured that that would not get me anywhere, cause whoever was in charge of that last night just kept telling everyone that “You cant appeal if it’s just competitive ban. There is a reason for this happening to you”. So that is pretty bad too. Kinda weird that they are not able to see a pattern, when all of a sudden there is a bunch of people tweeting the same kinda stories and they just brush it off like it’s the player’s fault…

This is honestly a joke , ive never seen this many people all with the same issue in such a short period, myself like everyone else here was playing last night no problems and i get home from work today to be told im banned all Season (60 days) .
Only to be given the response of “you must have done something to violate or terms of conduct” this is absolute hog wash.
We need either a resolution or a justification not to wait 6 hours for a bot to tell me i must have something wrong.

A lot of people state happening the same that happened to me, get a game failed to connect to server, get a 15 min suspension, log in the next day to see im banned for the season. Just dropping this here in case they’ll start manually unbanning users

the same thing happened to me, I quit two matches, the last one was a server error and they gave me a season ban, the funny thing is that they themselves created a list of suspension times for disconnected matches, I left two, I should have taken 40 minutes, I expected nothing less from blizzard

Actually that’s a significant update

We have identified the issue and have prevented additional bans. We are now working to remove the Season Ban from impacted accounts

At least we know they are reversing the bans, and that they shouldn’t occur again. Hopefully we’ll get a similar status update here shortly…

why have they not just unbanned everyone who was banned in the last 48 hours this is crazy lmao
