Servers Issues, please fix ASAP

"I closed all uneeded programs, all update schedulers, but after two games my latency jumps from regular 50-70 to 300-500, yesterday had 1200, today max was 800. When I restart my pc, latency gets back to normal, but after one or two games it goes up again… I though antivirus was the problem, installed another one, exactly the same… Internet itself works great, problems occur only when playing overwatch… Right now restarted pc and it dropped to normal 50 ms, but whats the point? Already left 2 c… "

"Yesterday I noticed I could not get into neither OW or WoW. I’ve followed all the troubleshooting steps that are on the site, including running virus scans, cleaning it (etc); updated all my drivers, then deleted OW and WoW, redownloaded them after cleaning my PC and I’m still getting timed out when trying to connect. Just a list of what’s happening to EU Servers right now, i’ve got lag issues with a perfect connection, disconnection, and 2 bans with 50sr loss for this Servers Issue. I’ve done MSInfo and Traceroute tests, they were successufully and the italian technical support actually told me there’re no problems with Blizzard’s Servers, well, reading this reports i’ve doubts about it.

So, i’m asking Blizzard to see what’s going on here in EU and try to find out what’s making people LEAVE RANKED GAMES. Couse it’s not about me, but it’s about Overwatch and how has become unplayble after the last patch.

The only way to make lag dissapear, is rebooting Battlenet DURING a game, you need to leave the game, risking the ban, and than reboot battlenet and Overwatch and puff, no more lag.

I’m waiting for info about those issues.

Same problem here, I’m from Italy too.
Lag spikes during games without any reason, it happens also at the same time to my friends when we’re playing together. Same lag spikes, same latency, different connection and different cities.

It’s not the first time that Blizzard has server issues, especially disconnection, but they will never admit that’s their fault. Our only hope is that they fix it under the hood

Just happened to Aimbotcalvin during stream, and there’re tons of reports in the facebook groups about the issue.

i also have the same issuses with latency…having 70ms and goes to 500+ in random times.
In addition i’m geting dced from the game even without high latency and i can’t reconnect “server was unable to login you”.

i have the latest updates in my os and graphics card, i deleted Bnet folder , repaired the game and does the same…

everything was runing fine until 2 of September when random disconnects or high ping started without any change on my os updates or any other app generally. (i also lost like 100-120 sr, cause of the issue…)

Exactly Stanley, is the same issue everyone’s having right now.

I’m having issues as well.
Ping jumping up to 1300 sometimes, so damn frustrating.

That comment about OW being poorly coded is kind of exaggerated though

Just reporting same issue even if “lighter” ping spikes from 30ms to 280ms randomly. From Italy Vodafone is the provider 100mbps fiber

As I’ve explained in this thread, at the moment we aren’t aware of any issues with our servers. That doesn’t have to mean that there isn’t any, but it’s something we would have to check as it hasn’t come up with the usual monitoring.

In order to check this, we need you all to first follow some troubleshooting to discard the most common reasons for this kind of issue. Please, check this article and make sure you follow all the instructions, including the advanced steps:

  • WinMTR (right after a disconnection or whenever you’re experiencing the issue)

I don’t think is a good idea sharing personal infos about ping, IP, PC system info, and etc in a public forum, we can send them to Blizzard with a ticket right? I’ve already did that with the italian support and they told me that there’s no problem with my Connection or PC and with the Overwatch Server.

It’s better to have them here, much easier to check them and see if there’s a general issue or not. If you feel uncomfortable you can send them with a ticket, but as I said it’s much better putting them here.

I can edit the data out once it’s checked, or you can edit your IP if you feel uncomfortable sharing that. The connection diagnostics I’ve asked for don’t have any other personal data, and we don’t need the DxDiag and MSInfo for this, so it shouldn’t be much of an issue.

My router isn’t flooded (fec-hec-crc errors are fine) but i also reseted my router just in case
My os is up to date so are all my drivers for the apps
disabled/enabled my nic (also just in case)
release/renew my ip

As i wrote on my first post everything was runing fine til 2/9/2018 when the problem started, i have random disconnects/high ms, i.e : 2-3 in (let’s say) 10

since i can’t create a new post on this thread i have to edit the existing one .
Even in the menu i get disconnect, without any other problem or packet loss in other applications/games. I just get disconnected while on the menu “lost the connection with the server” . The problem with disconnects/ random high latency exists only in OW

Why are you denying the existence of a mass problem, which has touched a lot of gamers from both servers (AS n EU) at THE SAME TIME!
