Yes it very much is defined by the perspective, because third person allows you to look around corners, which gives you an advantage, and that’s not what this game is about.
This game would not be Overwatch with third person, and that’s just a fact.
No matter how many pointless arguments and word salads you make, it doesn’t matter.
FPS literally means FIRST PERSON SHOOTER and yes it DOES DEFINE THE GAME BECAUSE IT IS FIRST PERSON… Good grief kid… Just stop it already…
I’ll say it again. If you want a 3rd person game, Overwatch is not for you and you should stop asking for it because it will never, ever happen.
The entire game is designed around the 3rd person perspective, Overwatch is not.
Name those games, please. Because i can tell you right now, not a single game designed as an FPS have ever gone 3rd person perspective mode after being out for years. It’s not worth the investment because people already buy skins in this game and they do so to see their skin in highlight/POTG videos and replays, and because they want something to show off with to other players.
