Who was the actual first hero in the game? The artists in the live Hammond skin drawing said it wasn’t Tracer but someone else.

I… have never heard of that. Sounds very interesting. But the two Graphic designers who were doing a live drawing of Hammond’s new skins, said it was someone different. Cause they were talking about how they remembered dueling in Temple of Anubis, cause that was the first map.

I thought it was Tracer. People claimed the game was/is based around her, as she’s the poster girl etc etc

Well I think she was the first character they ever created on paper, but she wasn’t the first one who was actually in the game, she was definitely in it pretty early on, but I think the first three we’re Pharah, Bastion, and whoever the very first one was.

I’m not 100% sure, but I remember hearing a lot about Tracer, Widowmaker and Reaper being the very first 3. But I have no official sources for that, so, not sure. I’d assume Reaper->Widowmaker->Tracer with everything else I’ve heard about relevance to their older games with those heroes if that is the case.

Widowmaker might have been one of the ones they said, but again, I can’t really remember.

There concepts mostly come from there other game called :something i dont know" it was never published atleast, and most of the hero ideas come from that game.

Actually, I think she’s the mascot because she is the most recognizable character of all.

She also has the logo’s color orange.
