Add ascendancy point allocation saving, by prestige/commander
-
Auto update ascendancy point allocation:
Currently, when you switch between prestiges, your ascendancy points don’t auto adjust to compensate. Everyone has their own preferred settings, so I suggest having the game remember your last-used settings for each prestige, and auto-updating them when you click a different prestige, just like swapping commanders remembers all your last-used settings for that commander. Since the advent of the (awesome) prestiges, these simple QoL updates have not as yet been forthcoming. -
The above changes would enable the possibility of another wish list feature for our random lovers; “Random plus”:
In addition to the handy random commander button, add a second random button (random plus?) that not only chooses a random commander, but also selects a random prestige (excluding default) that you’ve unlocked. A hover-over text bubble explanation would be appropriate. Yet another update that should be somewhat obvious since the advent of prestiges, but hasn’t been implemented. -
A final small, but glaringly missing QoL update:
When you play a co-op while randoming a commander, afterwards, the button flips to w/e commander you used in that game, instead of keeping random selected. It’s a little annoying to have to keep re-selecting random every round instead of the game simply remembering that you last selected random.
I’m aware of the SC2 staff downsizing, but these are fairly straightforward QoL updates for a mode that’s extremely popular, and, along with some select arcade games, will likely be SC2’s final bastion in the coming years.
