[Resolved] Connecting to Blizzard services - Aug 2023

So @Battlenet, are you fixing this or what? Day two of no connectivity to the EU servers. Really would like to play some SC please. At the very least, up your communication game and speak to us.

Thanks

Same issue for me :frowning:

The tech specialist just sent me to this forum and told me they’re “busy with it” but without an ETA of a solution, it’s day 3 on my end now

Same Issue here. Regards from Portugal!

Crazy slow response from them.

I’ve made another account and I’m playing the free version for the moment.

Only work around I have.

But free is limited because it takes awhile to unlock ranked play plus everything else

SC2 Coop game can not launch, and keep showing the message “There was a temporary problem with your request, please try again”

This issue is not related to login or authentication, it is a game-launching issue.

This thread is specifically regarding access to the EU sc 2 servers.

You’ll likely find help opening up a fresh post.

( going through common trouble shooting step night solve you issues)

Agree.
This is not that level of support and customer experience which you expect from Multibillion corporation

unfortunately SC is an abandoned project. I was hoping that after weekend somebody finally comes to office and finds the on-switch. long ago, that was always the case when internet went down in my dorm, it goes down Friday or Saturday and came back Monday 9:00 ± 5 min

Same issue with me

Maybe it’s something region-specific? Like, anti-Russian sanctions or something and all people in this thread are Russians who can’t play?)

yeah… no… I wrote already twice that its just account based and I am German national (fun fact: my wife whos account works like a charm is Russian national, living in Germany)

I can only imagine that older accounts (SC2 accounts that is, not bnet) are affected, they might be on another database server which went down. (mine is as old as SC2)

Hm, I made my account around 2016 or so.

I am ukraininian, located in free Ukraine and I cannot play.
Plus it’s Europe region, not like russian-speaking segment or something unless they segregating by IP

Same issue for me. I can log into my main account on US, but not in EU, and I can log into other EU accounts just fine on the same PC.

Sadly still the same problem here
I just looked it up my account is from 2013!!
