Same pb as the original poster : reinstalled after few years and unable to log in into EU servers, works for US servers (but no progression there).
When I try to connect to US or KR it works…
But I have never played this game on those servers?
I continue to have the error when trying to connect to EU Server

Same here mate…
Returned to Starcraft II after a long time to start the Protoss campaign and read in forums that the outage problem is from November 2024 loool… For me only KR server works… Neither US or EU.
Also, what I’ve noticed is that on the low part of the main screen of SCII, the date with the “rights reserved” etc, is 2010 - 2024. Why? Shouldn’t it be 2025?

Same issue here.
Last time I’ve played SC2 was on Heart of the Swarm premiere, so like, more than 10 years.
Wanted to finish the story due to the gamepass availibity of LotV.
EU does not work for me. US/KR works (I have no progress there though).

I also have a similar issue, just came back after awhile away and whenever I try to login to EU Starcraft 2 I get the error “There is a temporary outage of the Battle.net service. Please try again later.” however I can log into the Americas and Asia server fine.
I contacted blizzard with a ticket and the only thing they suggested was bog standard stuff like run smart scan and make sure you click the region above the play button which is an absurd thing to suggest to someone in a ticket when they clearly wrote in the ticket that other regions do work just not EU so obviously I was changing the region just fine if they had actually read my ticket.
Anyways I responded to those silly suggestions by blizzard by doing a very long second ticket and going through all the suggestions one by one like a child to show them that I had tried to do what they said and it still wouldn’t log me in to the EU server and it is clear to me that they either do not read tickets OR because they’ve wound SC2 down they can’t be bothered trying to help as the second response by them in the same ticket was just to write in a different way the same thing as the first response with the same links to do things like change region.
Then at the bottom said if this doesn’t work post to the forums. Now I had already previously spent hours looking through old posts about this very same issue with no valid way from anyone on how to fix this issue which is the very reason I decided to do a ticket because there was no answer on these forums.

hey guys,
just reinstalled SC2 and trying to login in. The Login on the launcher is working but when I am starting the game it states for a temporary outage for at least 24h now. Anything broken or am I doing anything wrong. A friend of mine is having the same issue.

same problem,I can play the game normally with high latency on the KR or US servers, but cannot connect to the EU servers.
I also have the same issue after reinstalling after a few years… If you look at previous posts than this appears to be going on since November last year… And I cant see any blue post with an explanation or a fix. I would however like to know how to fix it as well!
