I started a new Prologue Campaign of Reforged after buying the WoW Forever Collection a couple of weeks ago. Made some progress and today went back to my save on that mission with the timer where you have 20 minutes to fend off attacks until the ships are repaired.
Everything worked perfectly fine until the end of that mission. The cutscene started playing, Thrall said something about “On to Kalimdor we go” and then the game crashed (“the application encountered an unexpected error”).
Now I cannot load any of my saves without the game crashing. I tried the latest save and the one before that. No difference. The game simply crashes to desktop with an error message.
Scan & repair did not help.
What gives? This is really disappointing.
Edit: I don’t have the problem that my saves are gone. They are there but I cannot load a save game anymore without crashing.
