I have not bought Reforged, but now you have forced an update of original WC3 so it takes 30gb instead of 2gb, and it can’t be started anymore, literally wtf are you doing?
Maybe make sure it can be started before you force something on us classic users 
Blizzard why you forced me using Reforged ?! I bought warcraft 3 frozen throne without time limit and so I want to play frozen thorne !!!
I have the same issue. Hopefully we can play again when Reforged is released.
But it sure is one way to make the two games compatible. Making everyone playing Reforged but with old skin if you only own OG version 
Its because they dont care anymore about their reputation nor about their customer base its all about the money
Why had to ruin good old W3??? we bought a game licence with timelife pass,and now you force us for other 30 euros,if I want to play with an 20 years old game?? SERIOUSLY?!?!?
you can switch the graphics to the old ones from the menu
you dont have to buy reforged to play with classic optics
you shouldn’t have to buy is anyway this was one of the last games that never had anything like that. i just wish you still got everything when you first pay for it next thing you’ll be able to buy skins!!
I have frozen throne -palying all those years, what now?? i updated and i try to enter like a classic user but I get an error - “there was an error in handling the request” so i cannot play! What should I do ???

should i delete everything and then reinstall frozen throne from cd and reupdate?
Wouldn’t it be impossible to re-download old WC3 without buying the reforged version? Didn’t Blizzard remove old WC3 as a download option like month ago?

I just lost access to original Warcraft III too. This is terrible experience!!!
My old game won’t launch, and the Battlenet app wants to download a version of Reforged which probably doesn’t have the new skin enabled.
Possibly the other system reqs also got bumped to the Reforged level, but who knows. Would appreciate it if someone can confirm this - I’m not too thrilled about downloading something of this size which possibly won’t even run.
I wish Blizzard had some time to review things instead of rushing the release just to meet the original deadline - oh wait.

It still does not explain why the game I liked and took 2 GB on disk now has to take 30. The disk size where it is installed is quite limited already. I do not see the point of forcing massive amount of new engine to be installed on computers that may be quite old to still play classic fine. My estimation is that after the whole download I will have left 100 MB on that disk…

After that clicked the Exit Game and my monitor seems to have some stupid colorchaning overlay on. I cannot make screenshots of it, because on other screen the screenshot looks ok. Blue becomes Yellow, Red becomes Blue, etc.
Blizzard, how dare you to stript away my old game from me? I want to play a game that i bought 17 years ago, not that buggy mess, that you released few days ago. 
So I’ve tried uninstalling the game and installing it again, it doesn’t solve the problem. Thanks a lot pal, now I’ve deleted my campaign progress for nothing.
