I’m playing from South Africa, but I physically can’t play at 360-400ms, guys, I’m on fiber internet etc, you have to have top notch internet here because Blizzard doesn’t like Africa, should be getting 180-200ms to Europe (Bad gameplay, but not totally destroyed like 400ms).
Something wrong with MM or is this just how the game is?
I bought the game with the idea that I can play online, but if it’s going ot match me at 400ms then I just won’t be able to play it, hopefully this is an error.

I think the developers have merged matchmaking for all regions, this means though that Southern Africa will be left out of multiplayer entirely as latency would often make the game unplayable.
I don’t know what to do, I tried to request a refund but was denied, I don’t think the CS people understand how broken this is.
I highly doubt Blizzard US would do anything to fix this, especially not for some plebs in Africa.

Unfortunately the MSinfo somehow has been deleted before we could check it. About the MTR, seems you’re using a mobile connection, you should test a wire one to see if there’s any improvement.
If it’s playable using a different connection, it’ll confirm it’s a routing problem. You’ll then have to report the problem to your ISP.
I wonder why it says mobile, I also saw that, will take it up with Afrihost, I’m on 500/500 fiber.
