Did you play it on this computer before? Also did the editor open?

Hello,
I have the same problem on my Mac OS High Sierra (10.13.6) which should still meet the system requirements to launch Warcraft III Reforged. I haven’t played in while (still less than a year ago and the game worked just fine) so I do not know wether or not it is the new update that is faulty but when I click on Play the game runs in the background (the window is unavailable) and then it crashes. I have tried reinstalling the game (through the uninstall button as well as manually), playing the PTR version (where I face the same problem), scanning for issues and restarting my computer. None of these solutions has worked so far. Furthermore I do not get any notification concerning the crash, it happens quickly and silently.
In hope of ever finding a solution and thank you in advance for you efforts,
Sincerely,
Sirlwyn

Hello everyone,

@Sirlwyn, we received some similar reports, updating your OS (to Monterey preferably) should do the trick.

@VDD13X, this is possibly a drivers issue, you should update them from the Nvidia website. It could also be caused by some background programs (often overlays), the following article should be helpful :

Else, you can try to launch the game in windowed mode. For that please click the cogwheel next to the play button > game settings > Warcraft III > check “additional command line arguments” > put -windowmode windowed
