at this moment i used shadow.tech to plaing w3 you can try 20$ per mounth
So even though this is a paid game, no one at Blizzard really give a shit that it’s not working on macOS anymore, huh?!

The level of professionalism in handling this situation reflects poorly on everyone who decides to put Blizzard on their resume. Given the length of time it’s taking to solve the issue and the small scope of it I think it’s fair to say that the issue is probably not going to be solved any more. Frankly this should be embarrassing, but I fear that there is no professionals left at the company to feel embarrassed.

we have all tryed these steps several times:

I have the new M4 Macbook pro fresh install, and latest Sequoia 15.1 (24B2083) build
I can install battlenet, download WC3R but while it looks like an attempt to run the game is made no visual signs show. their is plenty of activity in Console.
i have spent years messing around with cracks and ofline patches but it would be super helpfull to know if you suspect that it may be an MacOS issue or if it is something to do with your Software?
looking foward to hearing from you or anyone else who insted of blaming blizzard may be able to show what they have tryed?

Same problem on Mac M2. The game does not launch. I can’t believe it, it’s so frustrating.

Mac M1 — you press the start button, and the game DOESN’T launch 
I’m laughing like a seagull because today there’s supposed to be an event dedicated to the game’s 30th anniversary. The 30th anniversary is here, but the game isn’t. How’s that for a twist?

Oh, so that’s why Warcraft 3 wasn’t launching on my MacBook M1 — because they released a major version, 2.0.0. Congratulations to Blizzard on the release! Well done.
But Warcraft still doesn’t launch for me.
Still, I think these issues will be resolved soon.

Black screen for me when I launch the game. Doing a scan and repair to see if that helps. (m1 Mac mini)

game is in fullscreen mode, you can command+tab and back and its fine, but you will see update window as all of us)

Hola, I’m a Mac user. Warcraf 3 now loads but it asks for a 2.0.0.22365 version to be downloaded, which is not on the Battle.net (2.0 there).

Same issue here. With some luck, this is a small issue with a miss-named or miss-pathed file in the code. They are probably scrambling to fix all the early-release bugs from patch 2.0, so hopefully they’ll address it soon. It’s just a bit more frustrating because we haven’t been able to play for a month, and now we see everyone else excited from the awesome new updates.

Warcraft still doesn’t launch for me! I’ve been expecting this update would solve this problem, we are literally two months with this issue lol
looks like Blizzard don’t care about it, asking for refunding is the unique solution to make them realize what is going on.
