I cant open/run/start WC3 game in my MAC

Today I bought the game, I install the game and then it won’t open, my PC is MACbook, I don’t understand, does anyone know what to do?

Hi Sakana, if Warcraft III Reforged isn’t launching on your Mac then you can try the following steps using the Mac sections:

  1. Update your drivers and operating system to resolve any compatibility issues.
  2. Update or temporarily uninstall any security programs, which may mistakenly identify the login module as a security threat.
  3. Delete the Battle.net Tools folder to automatically rebuild outdated or corrupt files.
  4. Run the repair tool to repair any damaged game files.
  5. Close all other applications to resolve software conflicts and free up resources.

Once you’ve done that if the issue still continues you can report this further by ticket and provide your system’s report file too.

same problem as of version 1.36.2.21496 is not working on my Mac M1. When clicking the Play button, it doesn’t launch the application. I tried repairing in the cog wheel, as well as reinstalling WC3 and Battle Net.

The same for me.
MacOS: Big Sur 11.7.10
WC3: 1.36.2.21498

I deleted battle.net, wc3, restart mac, reinstall, restart mac again, the result is nothing…

I press play button, it wait for a minute and nothing is happening…

In what location WC3 should write error logs? I will share

Hello,

As of November 1, the game still won’t start.

I will demand a refund if I won’t be able to play this game anymore.

I don’t think you are “actively looking for a fix”. So, tell us the truth!

I purchased this game, along with Starcraft II and Diablo III to play them on my Mac.

This is proposterous! I have no other words to tell Blizzard, I do not think they have a sense of shame.

It’s been almost a month, maybe more!

I have never experienced anything remotely similar to this with any other company.

The level of recklessness is unbelievable.

hi everyone!
I also am having the same issue - I can’t start warcraft 3 reforged in my Mac. I downloaded all 28 GB and when I click “play” in battle.net it just goes into the status “launching” but it launches nothing. also tried to start the warcraft 3 launcher, but it also gives nothing. I don’t understand what shall I do.did it work ever on Macs?

Same here, I just paid for this game and it won’t work. I click the “play” button and it just never launches. Very annoying. How is nobody at all from the company updating or responding about this issue?? They’ll still let people purchase the game, knowing that it won’t work. That’s called theft!

Im sry but you cannot be serious with these steps.

Warcraft III has not been working on mac since the update 2/3rd of October.

Please just fix this. I had to forfeit all my league games since then and I’m probably gonna be relegated.

Please fix this - it’s been one month and I am running out of other ways to procrastinate from my university studies.

This is becoming a human rights issue - I just need to starfall some orcs.
