Mini Map - all black, no matter what i do

Hi Guys,

Need some help!

i’m currently on the Blood Elves Campaign, chapter 3. but for some reason all 3 missions so far the mini map has been all blacked out.

no matter what i do, it doesn’t appear. i’ve tried restarting multiple times, even cheats with iseedeadpeople but it all stays black.

Hi Kiros!

That does indeed sound off, you should try running the Scan and Repair on the game and see if that fixes the issue.

You should also check for any updated Graphics Card drivers.

thanks for responding!

i’ve tried updating all drives, repairing and reinstalling with deleting the subfolders for local saved data but alas it has still not solved the issue :frowning:

Is there anything else you can think of which i could try?

Have you tried changing the games resolution?

Maybe something worth trying here:
head into the Nvidia control panel (not the GeForce experience) > go to manage 3D settings > global settings > select default graphics processor: high performance NVIDIA processor > apply.

It’s also possible (as an outside) that Security Applications could be causing this, try making sure there’s an exception for WC3:R

It could though be a bug in this case, but we haven’t seen any other reports of this problem except yours so far, so hopefully we get some more!
