still can’t launch the game… reinstalled SEVERAL times, diffrent locations etc, firewall, antivirus etc, everything possible and still nothing, and no help from blizzard at all, what can i do

If you also have the black screen issue, or alternatively being stuck at the lion head, what fixed it for me, after trying it out on 3 different PCs with 3 different Windows versions, I tried it on Linux.

I used the Lutris installer with proton-ge, all from flatpak.

I then tried dxvk under Windows, to at least understand that the game doesn’t really crash, but is stuck at the lion screen, since the dxvk frame counter shows some 190 FPS but the game doesn’t progress into the menu.

Maybe I should not have updated everything, I’ve the suspicion that MS or NVIDIA have updated something, which Warcraft 3 Reforged doesn’t like.
