Bought the game earlier today.
Installed fine but would not launch. Knew the game has had some issues so went online to try and figure out a solution.
What ive tried:
Reinstalling the game.
Clearing %APPDATA%, %LOCALAPPDATA%, %PROGRAMDATA% and %TEMP% and reinstalling the desktop client and restarted the system.
Allowed WC3 Launcher and Executable in the firewall.
Turned the firewall off.
Disable all the startup applications.
Turned off QoS.
I have also taken out a DxDiag with a link below. Password is “wc3”

So I looked over everything and nothing obvious as a cause stood out, I saw some errors but no specific cause. Without knowing any specific error messages, it can be tough to try and narrow these things down.
Given what you have already tried, I only have one suggestion here.
Create a new administrator account: Blizzard Support - Creating a New Administrator Account
Once the account is created, shut down the computer, wait 60 seconds, restart, log into the new profile and try the app/client.
If that doesn’t help, I recommend submitting a ticket with both an msinfo and an updated dxdiag. (Click your name at the top of this page, click support, click contact support.)
