Hi,
I was able to play Warcraft Rumble PC version today. but now at this moment the “play” button in the battle.net client is dark blue and states: “Game cannot be played at the moment”.
My friend is playing the game at the moment i am typing this, so seems a problem on my end… when nothing else happened. reinstall or anything doesn’t help.

Same here.
I’m from Belgium.
So the game is available to us since the PC launch.
I hope it wasn’t a mistake or anything.

I’ve heard back from support and they replied with this.
“I hear you are having issues on logging in to Warcraft Rumble.
Furthermore, I took a look here, and I was unable to see any restrictions regarding your region.”
Yet it only seems to be people from Belgium with the problem.
He also said “But I took a look at the forums, and indeed it seems that this has been reported.
PC version not starting - Technical Support - Warcraft Rumble Forums” but that seems to be a whole different problem, not related to ours.

Worst answer i have ever seen… Link is a totally different problem.
And the part of only belgium not being able to click the “play” button is easy to further investigate in stead of “i am unable to see any restrictions”… The button doesn’t do that by itself and its in blizzard coding.
So if he can’t see any solution for our problem he has to go further with… can’t work at a helpdesk and just send that and hope people are happy.

I have replied back to them explaining that the provided forum post seems to be an entirely different problem, that our play button is permanently greyed out and when you mouse over it it says “This game can not be played yet.” while we have been playing it the past few days.
I’ve also told them that on mobile the game isn’t allowed in Belgium and that’s why we fear the game has been taken away from us on PC as well now.
We definitely need some clarity on this because people already have spent money on this as well.

keep us up-to-date please with their answers, cause i doubt they will reply in the forum haha.
If they don’t offer refunds for the people who spend money, we’ll start some riots haha

Had there been any possible workaround or room to make an exception, we would have taken that route before ever replying to you when you reached out to us. First of all, the link they’re referring to doesn’t even mention a specific region or honestly not any useful information at all. Second, I don’t think they’ve every clearly mentioned anywhere that it can’t be played in Belgium (especially not since being able to play it on the official Battle.net launcher without any workarounds). And third, they’re saying different, contradicting things now.
And still not a single mention of any refund if we indeed are not allowed/can’t play it (anymore).

I’ve been checking up on this topic, hoping that it would just be a bug in the beta and that there’d be a fix. Sadly what I thought was most likely the case seems to be it, not available in our region.
This has once again been a letdown from Blizzard.
I need a break from Blizzard, maybe it’s time to see other people. It’s not you, it’s me.

I’ve been going back and forth with support and they don’t even seem to know themselves if it’s supposed to be available here or not. One GM told me there is no regional restriction regarding our region and the others are just linking to meaningless regional availability posts with no usful information in it. None of them is clearly saying that it isn’t available in our specific region though.
Also telling me the standard things like reinstalling, change password, etc (which I did all do, even though I know that isn’t going to be the problem).
I’ve asked if there is a possibility to get some official clarification on this from higher up because to my knowledge there never has been said anything official about it not being available here even though it got and still gets promoted in some way or another in our region. And especially because we were able to play the beta on PC in our region and worse, we were able to spend our money in it, which a lot of people did. Not a single word has been said about that in the support conversations as well, but as I said, I don’t think they even know themselves what is going on with this.

I think it’s over for us Belgium people. So all we need now is the refund for people that put money into it. It is impossible that they would not refund since it is their fault.
If it is unavailable for belgium, then it should have been since PC-launch and not give us a few day to play and THEN shut it off for our region…
But blizzard always works with employee’s handeling the support that can’t see or know enough to really help out. Had the same issue for other blizzard games. Always the same “i don’t really know” answers in a coat of fancy words to hide the real “i don’t know”.
A disgrace. Should expect better service for people that spend loads of money on this company ( WoW since the first edition, hots, overwatch, diablo, hearthstone and now this ) they have enough of my money to give decent service lol…
