“The Untouchable guild” foul play Ashbringer WOW classic

Good afternoon!
I want to ask a question, is it possible to punish a player / guild for dishonest play.
The point is this. Guild “The Untouchables” from the server Ashbringer on November 6 made an announcement in the general chat about the additional recruitment of a small number of players in the guild trip to Naxxramas. Loot rules with a soft reserve of two things. I saw that no one reserved the key to Malygos, which surprised me a little, because usually the guilds leave the key for themselves. Therefore, I asked again in the raid chat, they did not answer anything about the key reserve. In the end, I reserved the key, the sheet was closed and we cleared almost all of the nux. Everything was given by softreserve. We did not kill the horsemen, the sapphiron and the lich, because it was already too late and the raid fell apart. We agreed that we would continue the next day at 19-00. The next day, I see a message from this guild that they are recruiting players for three bosses, a hard reserve key for the guild. When I started asking questions, they told me that the entire soft reserve was canceled because there were new players in the raid.
Here is the raid softres.it/raid/87sw88. I am an Aurorra paladin.
Please note that the change to the reserve key was already made on the 7th of the next day. They took the key without a roll. I also have all the screenshots with correspondence with the leader. Where does he write to me that he forgot and all that. Then wishes good luck with the report.
Sorry for my English. Used a translator.

It’s a new raid - New soft reserve. Deal with it.

First and foremost Blizzard forum rules forbids naming and shaming, so your topic is a candidate for deletion, unless you redact it.

Your case is in gray territory as they did organised raid according to rules in the 6th of November and you can’t blame em for not getting loot in 07.11.22 raid you didn’t participated in.

However they ruined a weekly raid lock down for you, by changing rules. Submit your prooves to a support if you will, but I do not belive that they will take your side as changes to rules were made before raid, so everybody had an option of conceding or not.

Delete the name out off the Title and thread.
Name shaming towards players and guilds is against the Forum’s ToS and will only cause you problems :man_shrugging:

Also.
Good luck with the report, I doubt anything would be done with it.

Honestly, same happened to me. But they allowed me to change my SR to a KT drop so all was fine

For the future I would recommend never joining one of these guild runs that fill the last spots with pugs. You will get screwed one way or another because they see you as someone taking away loot from “their” run and they’ll do everything they can to not let you win items.

You should’ve spammed the raid leader, no response? leave the raid next time.

Don’t play on Ashbringer . It was toxic in classic and it will continue onwards .

I might be a minority here but soft reserve in general seems like a bad concept. Why exactly do you need to reserve items beforehand? Why can’t loot be handed out in an open manner to everyone after a boss fight?

I feel like people are inventing new ways of making things more complicated than they need to be.

Had a great experience with the community here. I don’t know why we’re generalizing.

we’ve got a winner. You’re just ther to fill spots and being used as a fuse.

All loot systems are bad in one way or another but Soft Reserve is great in pugs.

It’s really fun to join a raid and know how many will roll on an item you want. It’s just a better/fun way to distribute loot in pugs where as many as possible can feel rewarded for joining.

As organisers they didn’t even really have to re-invite you the next day. Quite honestly a Naxx raid that doesn’t clear in one session is pretty yikers at this point, you’re much better off finding a guild, even a very average dad gamer guild is clearing Naxx comfortably in 2hours, and you won’t have to deal with anything like this.

They are right in that if they are inviting new players and it’s a new day then it’s a new SR, and if they want to HR the key that is unfortunate but that’s just how it goes sometimes. From what I can tell they haven’t really done anything particularly bad here, they could have not offered to re-invite you at all as organisers.
