Mop perhaps was the most fun I had with my mage and in general alot of people say mop was their favorite expansion for their various classes, seeing alot wild stuff in tww on all classes and I hope it will be something similar where all have something fun
Oh, that sounds right up my alley ā¦ I love beef stroganoff and I live on ready meals (it never seems worth cooking a proper fancy meal for one).
Also have been in London today at the theatre, watching the amazing Sheridan Smith then dinner at Wagamama (probably my favourite restaurant chain). I now canāt move ā¦
It was so delicious. I am excited to see what else they have and try one per shop. Very expensive though but it was for 2
I am super bored and I donāt know what to do
Also in a poor mood so drawing is not working for me eitherā¦
Hope everyone in here is having a better night <3
Iām knackered because Iāve been out all day and am about to go upstairs and have a long hot bath with a book and a glass of wine which will hopefully send me off to sleep quickly (when Iām out of the bath, that is ā¦ I donāt want permanent sleep).
I miss my bathtubā¦ soon going back to apartment for a while but having no bathtub in the big house really does matterā¦
Still nagging the BF that we need to buy one, to the point where I feel like I am obnoxiousā¦ <_<
Oh, I sympathise. I donāt think I could manage without a bathtub - I have a bad back which it helps and itās generally just relaxing and soothing
I got bad everything, nerve pains, plus it is very calming to just āfloatā for a bit too when my depression gets to its lowest points.
It is, as you say, soothing.
We need one in the houseā¦
Play nice aellas
Whilst I love soaking in scalding water because I am a dragon, getting in and out a bath is a real struggle for me, so I prefer a shower anyway. Having said that gimme a hot tub.
I had similar with my Ankylosing Spondylitis. It started on board ship where my back would hurt at night, so Iād be up at 0300 and go help the lads in the galley getting things set up for breakfast.
When I left the RN I went to my GP just to find out why I wasnāt able to sleep due to the back pain - he prescribed bed rest ! Just the place that was causing me all the pain!
They then gave me anti-inflammatories, stronger and stronger ones until I had an allergic reaction and came close to pegging out!
Turns out that moderate exercise is pretty much the only thing that will work for me, but it took a few annoying (and scary) dead end moments to arrive at that conclusion
I hate HOT bathsā¦ donāt see the appeal.
Warm or cold to shock me awake.
Love it. Like I am being burnt clean. Purifying dragon bath oh yesh.
What kinda excersises work for you? I was walking but the inflammation went on achiles tendon so now ankles and those tendon are burning. Ask biological meds if you havent yet, both my friend and aunt have their rheuma on remission after starting treatment with the new meds, theres few different kinds that work on different principle than anti-inflammatory ones, you could ask if some of those doesnt contain anything that your allergic.
This is why fins love sauna, you would fit right in 100C sauna, then cold shower, then back to 100C sauna
Woke up today with Flowers by Miley Cyrus stuck in my head. Sheās actually fully lit tbh.
I canāt do jogging at all, my back was agony after a couple of miles, but walking works for me and I go to boxercise once a week, Iāve been doing that for a few weeks now and feel I could probably go twice a week if I can find another class near me!
Swimming helps too but as you have noticed for yourself, some exercises work for one person but not for another
Whilst I donāt have your condition I do get flare ups of my SI-Joint and also really tense shoulders and neck. Just basic stretches twice a day seem to help and, I loathe to say, some VERY BASIC yoga poses that are essentially just bigger stretches. It wonāt magically cure you of course, but it does help loosen the muscles and strengthen them which is most important. Iām talking 5 minutes here and maybe you increase if you feel better but you have to take it slow and work around pain flares.
Also swimming is the best exercise for people with chronic pain, preferably in warm water, as the water soothes your muscles and holds you up. I did some hydrotherapy where you did very simple exercises in the water and you had to be careful because it is easy to overdo as you feel pretty strong with all your weight held up. Coming out the pool is a bit of a nightmare when gravity hits you though! Sadly I couldnāt continue as the coming out the water part flared me but you shouldnāt have that issue so if you can find a heated pool maybe twice a week do some very simple, gentle exercises.
I could research all these things for you but you can do it yourself too. Simple google or youtube videos of gentle yoga/swimming exercises for arthritis/fibromyalgia/chronic pain. They are all linked and generally have the same suggestions.
I go from being able to walk for 20 minutes to not 5 and have to start again. It is unfathomably frustrating and constant work to manage pain with the hot showers/baths, magnesium sprays, trying not to overdo painkillers, resting but not too much, stretches blahblahblah. Wanting a painkiller that just gives us a -break- is to be expected. Hereās hoping they come up with betters meds in our lifetime, eh?
