Riot is making their own League of legends mmo… It has been years since anybody attempted to compete with wow for its mmo throne…
I am anxious too see what they have in store for us xD a mmo in the league world and fantasy.

I think we all are… In some way or another. Too try something new. Too see someone else attempt at the throne with a new and fresh game.
It has been an age since wow had any new challengers to the throne.

I think it’s cause MMOs take so much money to make and have no guarantee they are successful so its a big financial risk.
That and… the bigger issue is… Gen z and the kids today just don’t care to get a gaming pc to play our games that an mmo requires anymore…
Like the next big main huge mmo has too be so immensely good it has too make you wanna actually buy a gaming rig for it the way I see it.
Otherwise if you where making a new mmo you would only appeal to us older generations.
Young ones today are perfectly happy and get their gaming fill from their mobile games and consoles it seems.

I can only comment on dota 2, I played early game gankers that only roam lanes disrupting their farm. Slark was my favorite 
Were waiting this one aswell, were sad to hear it got delayed. They have some problems with the project if you google of it.

went on a hike a while ago to the desert to hear the calming sounds of the wind and the rhythmic sound of the thumpers … shame about the sand worms thought… but i believe they get a bad rep - theyre lovely really … im already quite proficient in riding them

Hate to break it to ya but wow doesnt hold any throne thesedays.

But things dropped massively with 3 flop expansions back to back.
They cant even keep their diehards completely happy anymore yet alone tge average joe.
They need more druid forms… that always works and make feral totally overpowered.
Wow survived the FF exodus from bfa and shadowlands Twiggz and FF dropped in players allot when they returned <.<…
So even after the dismay from those expansions… wow players did eventually return in the end… My thoughts? Its because wow offers endless content like the other mmos do not…
