🎭 GD Chat Room (Part 2)

More stuff to internet and on apps on smartphones imo, all other older systems are already jammed that call back services take days pretty much to any business one is trying to reach. Trying to reach some billing office and they only offer call back system and then phone rings or not ring in next 2-3 days is pretty horrible if they could just make some page that could go look the situation of whatever ordeal self. Call back system will probably be last relic before its also replaced with apps and other online services too. Shame for the ppl who work for it but nobody should have to wait 2 days for phone call anylonger after internet has been invented.

Plus the fact that hospital doctors are worked into the ground, and gps are not.

i havent been able to see a gp in 23 years but its ok bcos i can just ring up my local minor injuries department and see any specialist i want within a week with no waiting lists

ngl the nhs are fantastic like that if you ask me personally

ofc the canteens could be better hospital food doesnt have enough chicken for a buff guy like me

One politician did article of it that why there is 10 doctors and 5 specialist on call in any number of private hospitals near him located in capital 10mins from his office and could book appointment in 5-10min notice to atleast some of them, but if he try get appointment to public it will be weeks or months. Theres private hospitals full doctors just waiting on call without even patients for the day but theyre there just waiting instead working somewhere in public and meanwhile the public has no doctors.

Happy birthday!

It works very well where I live but there are obviously some tech resisitant people who wont have access to these things and prefer to ring but the bulk just use the online forms now. Making it much easier for patients and doctor.

I remember when I was in my 20s and you’d get some infection and need antibiotics and they wouldn’t be able to offer you an appt for two weeks. Now it works great.

I knew friend who didnt do anything than on calls on weekend few times month and even those not every month, I asked why he even studied to be doctor and he said so he could get enough money from doing as little as can. Just tells how doctors can play the system if they want. They have their own agency which they can use to snipe on calls for weekends and the like where they want and when. They should just rise the amount of students too but even that is kept low from union which wants to keep it as such and consists of doctors itself. They play for own pocket ofc its not dumb but shouldnt be let have influence on student numbers to any degree if it benefits themselves to keep number of graduates low :dracthyr_shrug:

Best joke I’ve heard all day!!! :dracthyr_hehe_animated: Seriously though, our local surgery/pharmacy is a mess. I don’t mind ordering my meds online, but it’s very rare they are done on time. Having said that, the GP’s are pretty good (when you can get an appointment) - the phone lines only have a 10 minute window, so you are incredibly lucky if you can get through.

A few of them round here, they used to get their Methodone and sell it for the real stuff - nowadays, its a weekly injection. I know this as a friend of mine is a recovering addict, and she’s doing pretty well - even got a decent job now.
And well done to you for coming off antidepressants - been there meself, its bloody hard going

I was handed some to back pain month ago aswell the doc said it rises pain tolerance or something but I looked from net myself that there will be severe side effects from stopping antidepressants like ruin your sleep and whatnot for weeks so I just throw them in the bin, I didnt ask for them the prescription writing robot behind pc just put them on the prescription on his own, atleast something the docs can write even when ppl dont want them :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

I wonder is there equivalent of this saying on english too or if its just one of ours. Basically that the one is teased from like. Literally "horse only kicks who he likes” Im just picturing the first incident this happent that the saying got wings. :joy:

Just gotta ignore the health issue until it becomes life threatening.
Then you’ll get put first in queue.
They even come to your house and drives you to the hospital. 5 star service right there!

Haha if only it were like so, my half sister were paramedic on ambulance in Helsinki before she made litter of kids and quit working. She said most of the calls are intoxicated ppl just calling out of loneliness or drunk accidents they cause themselves that are not ambulance worthy or serious or people just in general being confused of their medical condition cause anxietys and various different reasons, large portion of their shift goes from handling calls that are not 112 worthy. But nothing we can do about it anyway it is what it is

There is a list the length of my arms on anti-depressants for possible side effects, then it doubles if you stop start them too.

I actually passed out when i initially stopped taking them , was stood in the bathroom at the time.

Only woke up when my head collided with the bathroom sink still have a scar on my forehead now from that.

Only time ive ever passed out in my life.

Thats how strong those meds are.

I got off pretty lucky though i didnt get any of the listed sideeffects.

Was a big decision to start taking them cause the sight of that list is pretty daunting.

Apparently though the medication i was on was pretty easy going and relatively new, the old antidepressants were much rougher.

Every drug manufactured comes with a leaflet of side effects. They are generally the same length. They are pretty good at showing how common the side effects are.

I read that even if some ppl did experience relieve for pain from it, after they quit they would just wake up random for weeks or not get sleep at all. I rather experience pain and deal with it than deal with more insomnia. Also I didnt ask them the doc just wrote random prescription thinking it might be of help but didnt bother say which pills they are or used what for aswell. I throw them in trash and left other patch unfetched in pharmacy. I have no need. I need other type of meds like sulfasalatsin and metra something, old meds used to slow down rheuma. Once eat those for half year can say they didnt help enough and ask for biological meds which are the good stuff, there are steps in getting the best possible treatment. Need to jump through these hoops but first would need to get even the most basic stuff to get started and the pills he gave me aint one of those so i have no use for it than put in trash, they wont help me on long run for what i want and i want the best possible cause im worth it like loreal

Yeah but all it takes is bad luck.

Common or not.

I didnt complete my full cycle of the medication so i dont really know if i got the intended results from it.

I did experience a few oddities like i had false happiness, i appeared happy even though i wasent.

Ontop of that if something bad happened instead of just feeling bad i started getting intense attacks which i can only discribe as what id imagine panic attacks are like.

I didnt feel bad but justva intense shock feeling instead.

Which lasted for a few mins.

Took about 3 months to stop getting those attacks after i stopped taking them.

For example this is ibuprofen, something people regularly take for pain in many countries. With any drug it’s the same. Some poor devil will suffer the rare things but the bulk wont.
