The neighbours and their noisy children are on holiday, so I got to enjoy my garden in the sunshine for once, with my dogs :sun_with_face: :coffee:

Would be lovely.

I dont get the appeal of the sun when its over 20c.

Why do people like it ? :joy:

Yes, same here in Switzerland, it’s raining right now. :cloud_with_lightning_and_rain:

No idea, I can’t stand it. Here in southern CH the weather is pretty much like northern Italy (it’s basically the same geographic region), so far this late spring is doing ok, temperature wise. :eyes:

I don’t like it at all and spend most of my time sheltering indoors in the summer. Heat doesn’t agree with me and makes me irritable and uncomfortable. And grumpy. Very grumpy.

30C 2 weeks now day and night in my flat, its kinda rough try sleep. Put an order for new A/C thats arriving tuesday. Im glad if I get this place somewhere around 24C. Hope you got A/C too or plan on getting one as its not even the biggest heatwaves yet, I fear its going to be scortching hot summer again like 2 last year and the days living without A/C is behind us.

A/C isn’t really a thing in the UK. In the past it wasn’t worth it for the couple of days a year it might be needed. Now it’s not easy as houses aren’t really built to have A/C in them.

I have a heatpump we use for heating in winter but it can also be used for cooling in summer

Yea it hasnt been in Finland either yet and our buildings are built to keep heat inside so it doesnt help either, A/C is becoming the future now in here aswell and I see increasingly amount new apartment buildings with built in air conditioners even on small apartments.

Yeah thats probably cheapest in long run aswell if one can have one installed.

First thing i did when i bought the house was getting a heatpump installed.

I cant believe Ive even tried to make this long without A/C, lived in scorching hot apartment buildings for months on end on summer. I would do the same with heatpump if I ever bought place.
