I just hate it with a passion sorry.
Iām afraid soā¦
And to enrage people even further, I also despised Game of Thrones and modern tv in general. The only thing in the past⦠ooo 20 years or so⦠was two things I watched to the end. The Sopranos, but only because it was so ludicrously bad Cosa Nostra fact and I was watching it with morbid curiosity wondering how on earth Soprano and his crew managed to survive so long being so utterly useless.
Fun Fact. Even though it was marleted as a fictional family with no connection to actual people or events, there was a New Jersey Mafia family, the DeCalvacantes. And a lot of their activities were mirrored on the show. For example, Tony Soprano owns a strip bar, the Bada Bing, which he operates from. His counterpart in the DeCalvacantes, Vinny Palermo, also owned a strip bar in Queens New York called Wiggles where he laundered his money from. Tonyās associates and soldiers are all generally low level mafia and quite useless, as were Palermoās men in the DeCalvacantes.
And just like in real life, the 5 Families of New York, the Gambinos, Bonnanos, Luchesses, Genoveses and the Colombos look down their nose at the Sopranos, so they did with the Decalvacantes.
The only other thing I watched was the Fallout tv show, that was a very good adaption of the Fallout game/s and the ending was very Fallout. Life in the vault was shown as it was in the games, utopia to itās residents locked away underground, unaware that they are social experiments of Vault-Tec. Unaware of the harsh realities of life outside the vault, Raider gangs, feral loosely allied bands of men and women roaming the wasteland taking what they want and killing whatever they want, irradiated Ghouls fighting off losing what remains of their humanity until they become witless feral beasts, different factions of humans all pursuing their own goals but all as equally brutally fascistic as each other. It was also good at showing that the main villain in Fallout has always been a constant, it just needs people to see it for their own eyes. Oh and the opening sequence was fantastic TV.
And as the tagline introduction all the games has said.
War. war never changes.
Apart from that, Iāve really struggled to stay with a show for more than one episode.
However if you do enjoy that kind of apocalyptic tv, I would urge to instead of watching shows like The Walking Dead or zombie like shows, (another concept I just find ludicrous and amazing at the same time despite peopleās basic lack of knowledge about decomposition of flesh ipon death in a attempt to justify it, I would strongly urge you to watch the old TV movie called āThreadsā.
For those who may be unaware Iāll link a video, but be warned itās not safe for work nor for young kids.
Sorry my tastes are not everyone elseās lol.
Now unless you like watching natural history, geological and even historical documentaries and like a good long 4 hour discussion about them, then yeah. We could talk ALLLLLLL DAY lol.
Just donāt mention Braveheart or Outlander.
