I dread snow, especially if itās unexpected, as it makes me house-bound. I live on a slight hill ā¦ not steep enough for them to grit, but too steep to go up if the road is remotely icy.

I can see how thatās less than ideal!
Basically English councils are never ready for snow when it comes and ignore it except for gritting major roads which most drivers canāt get to. Or maybe thatās just my council.

Yours and mine might be related, in spirit if not in blood. They always seem to be caught entirely off guard when the first (and second, usually) snow hits. Same with the railways!

Ih I live snow. I could spend all day in it just walking in the Glens (looking forward to it.)
I just wish it would stay off the roads. Not for my benefit, I love to see wheel furrows in fresh snow, its all the other idiots who have NO idea how to drive in snow.
Hereās a pro tip guys.
High a gear as possible, very low revs.
Thats why Iām powering up that snowy road on a hill albeit slowly and youāre screaming your engine, spinning the wheels and slowly but surely turning into the road or sliding into the parked car behind you.
And then you slam on the brakesā¦

Different in my area, The gritters basically grit every road they can, even minor A roads, the only roads they canāt grit are minor B roads, (because they canāt get on them even in summer) so the local farmers chirn up the snow and break up any packed snow and ice with their tractor treads.
In some cases when you get high, like Blair Atholl, Glenshee and Cairn OāMount, if the road is deemed "yeahā¦ people are moronsā¦ for the reasons I gave above, they just shut the road with snow gates.
No been trying that for days, but despite logging in and out of both the forums and battle-net, still only gave me the option to post with my B-tag. Then today out of the blue I have characters back!! Tis odd

Universe trying tell that we should have b-tag posting or to use one name. For me and others that fix theirs its just logout forum and give authenticator new permission. You might need to delete browsers history, sometimes wow forums logout get stuck cause some browser related cache or cookies or something and then gets fixed with clear all. I have firefox

I saw the mount challenge thing in tanaris and the npc pulls out Invincibleās Reins and the row of 5 participiants continued sit on their crocos 
Dammm wish I was there, Id have laughed and /yelled āGoddamit that mount has dropped for me 4 timesā just to enrage them.
Itās Sunday!
But of all the mounts they have in the whole game they reroll the same ones that either come from the trading post or from events three months ago. its almost as of theyāve forgotten that WoW is having a 20 year anniversary and people only started collecting mounts a year ago. Ive been at that mount mania thing now at least 6 times and six times theyāve rolled the hand mount from last monthās trading post, 4 times for the ardenweald flying fox and 6 times for a dragonflying mount.

There was the Horsemanās Reins this morning which was a first. I was one of the few who could do it. I love Mount Mania though havenāt managed all 15 yet. I was very close the other day when the last two turned out to be Spectral Tiger & Invincible so 13/15.
