šŸŽ GD Chat Room (Part 4)

Tbh only Geralt I really care were Cavill in the series and was meh hear him quit the show. For witcher 4 Ciri looks like an improvement for me :dracthyr_shrug:

But I guess they could put option for people that wish to see Geralt as the protagonist. Similar like in Mass Effect you chose either be the cool Jane Shepard or the some boring Shepard who are not even voice acted by Jennifer Hale :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

Are you talking game or tv series?

JAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Witcher 4 and then replied that I dont care so much if they remove Geralt from the game as only Geralt I cared leave the genre were in the series after Cavil announced to move into his Warhammer series projects next!

We are diving into this matter in multiple fronts on more dimension than one

I consider the series dead in the water after they fell out with Cavill. He was perfect and really keen on being accurate.

Yea it was shame to hear, and could see he cares of the franchise. The drama they had over the writing and so on that he thought differs from the story. But Yennefer is my favorite, she has interesting writing and is a spellslinger :mage:

Im looking this newly released Indiana Jones (which costs 70 euro, a crime itself) and Indy is not voiced by Ford, I would like if they had replaced him aswell with Indys Daughter or something. :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

Its set between best timelines

Interestingly, thereā€™s a little gap of a year between Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade, and thatā€™s where Indiana Jones and the Great Circle snugly fits. Taking place in 1937, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will see Indy unravel a mystery that connects all the Seven Wonders, which he believes makes some kind of ā€œcircleā€ around the world. Being set in 1937, players can expect to see plenty of classic Indiana Jones imagery

Nothing new there at this point. Bet the loudest ones about it also are ones who wouldnā€™t even be playing the game anyways once it releases.

Not sure why people would be annoyed about Witcher 4 being Ciri - it looks cool.

Probably same that see problems with characters in wow, any problems I have in my life I can say pixels in video games are at least not one. I dont link games to anything real or think anything too deep of them as they are just games and stories. If I want toon to look like super mario it doesnt have any correlation if I would be super mario in real or not, even though it would be super cool

Actually most areas in Hell do not have any fire in them unless it matches the punishment. Also all fire in hell is contained within the city of Dis. The most notable uses of fire in Hell is for the Heretics and the Sodomites

I dont see the fuss what people have over games in general either that it should be something accurate if there were similarities with irl for example. Its the some writers adaptation of something they took influences from but it doesnt specifically bring the some irl stuff in game unless they claim as so, its the writers right to make it as he wishes it to be and its correct just the way it is then, its a fictional story made by someone.

They can just make adaptation of something in limits of copyright laws if they wish and make their story then own it. Any similarities to irl found inside video game for example are just adaptation in someones story that doenst need to be accurate in anyway.

Theres things like copyright but using a Finnish first name on npc in wow for example doesnt make the character Finnish no more than the writer wish to make it be, it can speak whatever language and have whatever accent they wish it to have with the Finnish first name like the innkeeper Tapani Nightwish found in Maldraxxus area, it will be character in video game not owned by Fins but a maldaxxus citizen inside the story of wow, we dont have copyrights to own first names or accents or languages even in general, those can be used as much Finnish in the game as they wish and it will still be a character in world of warcraft with no connection to Finland no more they wish it to have.

Its all some writers stories in video game not to be linked into anything in real or even need to be entirely accurate with anything if that makes sense.

A game is just a game at the end of the day but some people will make it mean more than it should.

I specifically facepalm most when something is assumed of the pixels of mine or someones game characters. Im not the character and I doubt nobody else is either unless they specifically claim as such, to have tried make accurate night elf of themselves in real or whatever :man_facepalming:

Cats take over cyberpunk 2077

I donā€™t understand, I havenā€™t played the Witcher 3 fully but from what Iā€™ve always understood from the story of both the tv show and the game the main goal of Geralt was always saving Ciri and basically be a father to her, because she was destined to become someone great and way more powerful than him soā€¦ I donā€™t know, but wasnā€™t it all supposed to end like this? I mean, Iā€™ve always felt like Geraltā€™s story was some sort of huge prologue to Ciriā€™s, so now that we finally begin to follow hers shouldnā€™t it be just the natural flow of the story in the Witcher saga?

Besides, what has this to do with wokeness is beyond me.

On a side, unrelated note, rather than being excited for that trailer Iā€™ve found myself falling in love with this one instead
