thatâs true if you want more people to participate in elections you should make it as convenient as possible, the US is currently trying to do the opposite by making it an absolute chore to vote.
Yeah would think they would want as many as possible to vote, but it doesnât seem like it⌠We can do everything else online, so why not voting? Would be so helpful for all those people that cannot get to the voting places on their own for various reasons.
Thatâs its proper colours, no trick of the light.
This one is definitely NOT for holding.
Good morning. another monday, another futile stuff to do at work.
Thats s beautiful creature
I think thatâs a good thing tbh.
The US did show what an absolute show it becomes when no one can trust the results.
Longer voting window for sure but I absolutely think people need to haul their bums to an official location with id in hand
How the hike go? It was quite the climb right?
yes Thanks! 1300m it was really nice. weather was perfect and the hut was hot and cozy. dinner not so much but is a hut in the end. Not so difficult in the end and splitted in two days was good to admire the panorama.
Lookin for next weekend!
And it was full of ppl hikin with dogs
The thing is people started to distrust elections because a certain person started throwing a tantrum and pushing all kinds of weird conspiracy theories he saw on Facebook and twitter when he lost, supported by Fox News etc. Last time the whole âelection fraudâ topic wasnât brought up at all because he won I guess , itâs also ironic that he himself voted by mail.
Or make it so that the party gathering the most casted ballot gets in power. No 2 rounds shenanigans. Good news is that feature already exists in Europe.
Nice! And youâre going next weekend too? Trying to hit all the peaks or something
eeheh. maybe saturday. ive a knee that sometimes hurts⌠since im old this could be the sign to take a break.
But in 4 months ill be in new zealand to hike some months so I MUST BE PREPARED!
I saw a lot of gasoline being thrown by a lot of people but there were fires and thatâs not what I consider a good system. I look at the us elections as a good example of how not do things
Oh damn! New Zeeland even. I watch a 'tuber that does a lot of hiking there. Looks amazing! And tough!
I got a bit jealous now
Probably a good idea to keep up the hiking in preparation but rest is important too
yep. ive taken a 6 months leave for this. Dingin 50th level brought the will to explore somethin different in my life
The good about to live in Milan is we have in 2 hours radius mountain where goes.
Yeah I donât know, we have mail-in voting since I can remember and it wasnât really an issue, but here in switzerland things arenât as polarized/divided and we have less government distrust in general as in the US or some european countries currently.
And continuing on from the âLabubuâ conversationâŚ

Also happy birthday to my wee man Roscoe!!! 4 years old and he got a free muffin in Starbucks when I cashed in some reward points.
He still drank my latte.
You plan on being in Zeeland the whole 6 months or are going to mix it up a bit?
Could be a good idea to try to figure why the knees hurt, if it just exertion or something else.
I got bumm knees and hiking steep downhill can be a real pain.
Only way to figure out though is to keep testing and keep pushing it
Our old GSDs apparently used to get a pizza for their birthday
