šŸŽ GD Chat Room (Part 5)

We have an unfortunate tendency to mirror whatever the states does over here, we’re just a few years behind ^^
This election will be interesting though! We’ll find out if we’re sticking with pepsi for another term or going back to the true and tested coca cola we all know and love :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

I give up on elections. The party that was supposed to support the disabled and poor has done the exact opposite. They are all the same. All corrupt. All as bad as each other.

New Zealand looks amazing and 6 months is a long time to become one with the nomading, I bet you will love it

I thought you lot loved Julmust above all else and drink it like tab water during christmas so that it even gets noticed in coca-cola companys headquarters when their sales plummet during christmas in sweden and they dont know what to do about it cause Julmust ingredients are ā€œsecretā€ (home beer mixed with cola extract) :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Swedes consume a large amount of Julmust, with estimates of 40 to 45 million liters consumed during the Christmas season, which translates to approximately 4 to 4.5 liters per person in December. This consumption is so high that it can cause Coca-Cola sales to drop by as much as 50% in Sweden during this period.

that’s the problem with representative democracies imho, they all end up doing the bait and switch, direct democracies where you can actually vote on laws/issues yourself are better, not perfect, but I feel like it’s less controlled by lobbyists. But yeah politics are depressing moving on! :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

I feel the same so I cant care vote, all of them can say anything they want when they campaign and in the end all of them can do the complete opposite they have campaigned during elections like we have witnessed many times in here, somebody campaigns as the ā€œcommon manā€ and harvests all the commoners votes and once elected he teams up with the rich and starts giving his vote on their interests and does jack all for the people that vote him in first place. And also everyone of them do some tax evading and gets too high salaries and pensions anyways so I’m not going to be one who helped someone to make 10k euro month with all the benefits of buy apartments and cars on goverments expense and a cozy 3k euro pension after ā€œworkedā€ for 8 years, ironically they have 3x longer holidays than the people who actually work in this country.

Yeah there should be some party that controls that the elected ā€œpeoples representativesā€ actually do what they said to do if they get elected or otherwise anyone can just say anything at all they want.

The Julmust party is gaining traction but not quite there yet. Maybe next election after this one Julmust will put those other soft drink parties to shame ^^

The french used to have good system for that but we don’t do that anymore, too extreme I guess :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

Yeah system that actually did some changes :joy:

Reason I dont read news much is because I get too agitated reading how some elected public official asked for 2 million apartment from goverment and didnt like it so she gain another one and all is paid from taxes. They really have nice life, good for them I guess. Or the other news how the tax money is spent when I read that they built an 1 million euro changing cabin in public swimming place in Espoo (I guess some skimming or they are just that stupid to pay that much for a booth where people change clothes) or 300k euro public swing. It’s completely idiotic all and only gives me headache if I start read the news :unamused:

Sadly we don’t get to vote for our royal family

So I have to marry into it hmm. I’m gonna take a quick peek at royal family tree to see where to strike
