There is not contradiction. There is only 2 genders and sometimes people with birth defect donāt easily or obviously fit into one or the other. I already said that.

Before you start talking about philosophy here, at-least look at the wikipedia page for gods sake.
But il do that for you. And if you want me to dust off my medical textbooks I can do that too if you wish.
Intersex is a generic term for multiple genetic abnormalities, including XXX trisomy, XYY trisomy, and even a rare XXYY.
If you go to the wikipedia page for āintersexā, you have a list of different conditions.
And in that list there is a colunm called āsex specificityā which includes the following categories:
- Male
- Female
- Male or Female phenotype (phenotype = ālooks likeā).
And 5 categories with ānoneā. After clicking those categories, you see that its either a name for āunknown diseaseā (idiopathic), or, āAromatase excess syndromeā which says that you can either be female phenotype (if you are a XY) or hyperfeminization (if you are female XX).
In other words, you can EITHER be male or female. Period.
And believe me, if you ever meet someone with any disease mentioned on that list, I can guarantee that their ā3rd genderā is the least of their concerns. They are happy to be alive.
What they (and their families) really want is money, aid, and support groups to deal with the side effects of those diseases.
If you donāt believe me, again. Go to wikipedia and look at pictures of some of those conditions. Its not what you think (a person with 2 genitalsā¦). Its much, much more cruel than that.
So out of respect for those individuals with terrible diseases, I suggest that you focus your efforts on giving money to a support group. If you really care about Intersex individuals.
