We’re excited to announce a new chapter for the Gilded Dagger Community — one that takes us deep into the Tol Barad Peninsula, to a long-forgotten village that’s about to become something much more.
Welcome to Rustberg Village
Once a rundown settlement on the edge of the sea, Rustberg is being reclaimed as a neutral criminal-friendly RP hub — a place for smugglers, street rats, informants, petty thieves, underground traders, and morally grey characters to gather, scheme, and survive.
Let is also be known, this is a collaboration project between various guilds and individuals from both playable factions.
At the heart of the village lies Daggers Point, a tavern under new ownership. Its operators have begun laying the foundation for something bigger. No banners, no kings. Just opportunity, discretion, and gold to be made.
This space will serve as an IC meeting ground, a staging area for small events, and a shared backdrop for cross-guild and solo RP.
What kind of RP will be found here?
We’re aiming for a low-to-medium fantasy criminal RP theme, where grounded and believable stories can thrive. That means:
- Street-level criminal plots
- Smuggling, robbery, pickpocketing, bribery, shady deals
- Characters with real stakes and streetwise motives
- A mix of neutral and lawful/chaotic figures coexisting
- No assassinations, no world-ending threats, and no high-magic power fantasies

This project is collaborative, and we’re inviting guilds, characters, and creative individuals to help bring the village to life.
We’re looking for:
Guilds who want to claim a presence (legit or illegit)
Individuals who want to run stalls, shops, or pop-up RP scenes
Event creators to run bar nights, underground auctions, street fights, smuggling runs, gambling dens, and more
Writers and worldbuilders to add flavor and flesh out locations, rumors, and characters
Your stories help give Rustberg its soul — and you’re welcome to make your mark.
Backed by the Whispering Hearth & Latchkey Couriers
The hub is supported by the Gilded Dagger Community Discord, which serves as our central communication space for coordination, events, planning, and creative collaboration.
We’re also joined by the Whispering Hearth, a small group of hospitality workers with brains, brawns and ambition who oversee the ongoings from within the tavern. But also the Latchkey Couriers, a courier service that doubles as a criminal operation. They’ll be helping to populate the Rustberg RP while contributing events and plotlines of their own.
