Nope. I’m always BM and I wear 1 set of gear. I don’t change stuff for different activities, I’m not a nerd. :stuck_out_tongue:

My first ever raid I was in full pvp gladiator gear, one guy inspected me and asked why the rouge is ready to kidney shot his teammates



we are now best bros :laughing:

Also it was me that kept fishing for big lunker and actually summoned him.

I paid a designated 2-3 people each raid to do it for me and the raid leader lost his mind
 sorry Rem that you had to find out this way.

Nobody suspects the Co-Raid Leader

I never read up on tactics before entering a raid.
At best I skim through the dungeon journal mid-fight but mostly I just wing it.

That was my biggest secret when I was raiding until I was busted one night


I was waiting for the RL to go through his verrrrry long spiel on the LK like he did with every flippin’ raid boss and because I’d done it before I just let him waffle on. I was watching Youtube and kept returning to see if he had finished. Then apparently he had been yelling at me if I understood him judging by the angry sounding raid leader text of capitalised “SOUL ARE YOU THERE??!!”

I just typed “yeah sorry I was making a cuppa

And here I am, looking up vids even for LFR :smile:

But then again, I suck at adjusting on the fly. And when a circle of doom appears around me I’ll run around like a headless chicken (run away? soak? LoS? What do you want me to do game, whaaaat?!!) so I prefer to be informed before lol.

During HM dragon soul progress, I once forgot to refresh Righteous Fury after wipe #475 on Ultraxion, so we pulled, a DPS took aggro and got blasted, raid leader was “???” and I said “well I don’t even have time to build aggro” and the DPS got the blame instead :woozy_face: I /w the offtank about it and we laughed like idiots on TS but nobody suspected a thing

I was responsible for causing unholy hell multiple times in one of my first attempts to raid in Antorus. A few had arrived at the first boss and were waiting for others to get there and had said ‘WAIT’ in chat. I put Aspect of the Cheetah on and flew in like a phoenix from the flames, loosing arrows at the boss and locking the stragglers out - also condemning us to death.

Later in the raid, I kept my pets out after a boss and they got the debuff on them that spreads to everyone nearby and kills them. As we were going up the lift, everyone was kicking off in chat and I had no idea why but my pets were spreading the debuff to everyone so they were all dying because I had not dismissed them.

I guess the secret is that I was totally garbage and had no idea what I was doing or why I was there.

I appreciated the tactics and call outs but they had everyone talking about random rubbish, constantly. I can’t do VC well because it overloads me and so I had everyone but the call outs muted. Only by sticking music on did my brain relax enough to actually concentrate :dracthyr_crylaugh:

Oh this guy would sit and count out ghouls and Vrykul and where they would appear, what paths the valkyr would take and how quickly the defile would spread.

Me (MT) and my OT would be whispering each other “oh jesus
 look just stand a bit down from Snowman Tirion and I’ll keep the LK on the edge like we always do, we know what we’re doing
”

I think most people died deliberately just to hear him scream and rage on the mic considering how many died when Arthas shattered the edge.

But then again I never was any good at taking instructions, especially on VC

I used to do this as well


Even in my most “serious” raiding days, I never once looked it up beforehand.

No other addons.

At ALL.
