Hey Blizzard i’d like to raise a ticket on behalf of all the mages who posted about the recent exaggerated nerfs to our class (especially arcane spec) that essentially got us from top 4 dps specs to bottom 3. Mage is a dps class only - and should perform as one. There are many posts about this frustration in both the EU and US forums. We get 0 responses from dev or product.
As im writing this there are multiple.growing discord channels with clear intention to cause disruptions in the game unless there is some response.
I would not take part in these dosruptions as i believe in heapthy communication - please respond there and prove that im right in my approach.

I do this a lot honestly, because I want the game to be good, and not only complaining without a reason like many people are do on forums or reddit, but it is a shame there is a 500 characters limit… How I can even explain everything with 500 letters
Being considered good at season start is very valuable, mages were allowed to have their time at the most crucial moment you should be thankful for that.
Even now you’re definitely not bottom 3 that’s a joke if anything .
Literally every tech companies PRODUCT team is reading summaries from SUPPORT TICKETS to understand product pain points / segmented pain points. its just one of the first lessons of a Product manager.
Where are the PMs? its not that much to read to better understand your users post a change.
Moreover, where is the data analyst / product analyst? how are they not segmenting each topic to a category and monitor it over time?
Blizzard is a giant corporation they must have 40 analysts minimum.
This is bordering with negligence in the line of work both from product and analytics team. be better blizzard
You’re all just in your own echo chamber of bs. You could have a button with a 3 sec CD that deletes all mobs in 40 yard range and mages would cry the CD and range is too low.
Nothing you’ve said is true (bottom 3). Dev’s rightly put rubbish feedback in the bin.
Aye. IME class discords in general are the absolute worst place to get objective feedback about balance. Simply because they all inevitably come to the consensus that everyone else has to be nerfed and they need to be buffed, even when thy´re hilariously overperforming like sunfury arcane was at launch.
The only thing they´re actually good for is assistance withthings like rotation /macros, and weakauras, and occasionally some witty banter when someone is lighting tehmselves on fire to protest whatever 1% nerf to a filler skill was applied and how that will reduce their class performance by 5679%
I like the assumption that blizzard does not have their own statistics, while your own are not even from this reality.
As you said mages have 3 dps specs, and one of them (frost), is the 2nd highest dps in overall damage on the raid (95th percentile). In most movement/high aoe fights frost is upper middle of the pack, and top 3-5 dps in ST/cleave. Oh and it is the highest dps in the last boss on mythic.
And even in mythic plus, there are mages in groups in the very highest keys (top 20 keys).
I have no idea how you can see those statistics and take away “mage is bottom 3 dps specs”.
