I’m in the same boat and it took me about 1 minute to find an accommodating guild. I get it, you want GDKP back so you paint this picture of anything else being impossible. But there’s many different guilds that run things in a myriad of ways.

its easy raids just find a casual guild and join the raids when you can its really easy.

Variance is Variance mate.
That sucks (I’m in a similar position) but fundamentally that’s just RNG and you’ve just gotten unlucky/been an outlier.
Statistically that’s not representative of MOST people. (6 bosses. 2-3 drops each. 12-18 potentially BiS loots. 10 players. An average of 1-2 items per run).
Classic has always had these RNG elements for loot. I assure you it was worse back in the days of 40mans.
If this is really ruining your enjoyment of the game I suggest you join a guild run with LC or at least join a +1 PuG where this can’t happen.
GDKPs is just NOT The solution to this.
Hard disagree. GDKP just nflates an already inflated market. Bots + GDKP has killed the economy.
As someone with over 2k on SOD I still love the RNG. I’ve been extremely lucky this time with Gnomer but only ended phase 1 with 4 items from BFD.

(I did a run yesterday where a ret got 4 items and i got 0. So what. I havent gotten loot besides first ID, but my mage guildie has the epic staff, my WL guildie has good stam gear and the full rad set. We had 7+ epics drop so far, 4 of whoch went into the guild)
relax, just quit now and come back after 2 months when everyone is decked out so you can get free loot, thats what i did in p1 and got full bis even when p2 was out

The entirity of SoD is a test lol. Its temporary. No, their testing gkdp out long term i.e for SoDs life span.
Hence why this rule hasnt been applied to the other versions of WoW. Only exclusively SoD.
