Join a raid where they do +1. So if you win a item, you cant roll on other similar expect for if its a free for all item that everyone needs

It is sad how the only effective way that blizzard found to gatekeep items for weeks or even months is bad rng. While they give practically for free crafts and stv even items.

Find a group of people and raid with the same group every reset.
Then you can be happy for your friends getting their gear, because it means they wont be rolling on the next one that drops which mean you get closer to getting yours.

Then you are putting yourself at a disadvantage and missing out on one of the great aspects of a MMORPG.
It’s just like any other hobby, like if you were into badminton or football.
You agree on a set time every week and then everyone shows up at that time and has a good time.

would love some kind of endgame dungeons giving slightly worse loot than raid, gating of stamina cloth gear in phase 2 is disgusting
what a like best about gnome is the green glowing negative stamina set, that way everyone can tell without looking that you are a moron runing around wiith -35 stamina so you can parse 99 instead of 98

There are many guilds that have raids every day of the week. I’m sure you can find one that fits your busy, busy schedule. Have a look on your server Discord, there’s typically a channel for guild recruitment where they among other things mention: raid schedule, expected attendance and so on.
