Those heavy handed nerfs exposed how garbage the rest of the WW toolkit and talent trees are.
You remove it’s damage, what does it have left. The talent tree is full of useless trash, our lower 2 rows on the left tree are an absolute joke compared to literally every other class. How many dps apart from ww’s don’t ever take something from their bottom 2 rows.
I’m just tired of not only being first target in arenas, but not having the damage/defence to justify it.
I dont think its as bad as ur trying to make u pretend like everybody who is playing WWMonk is actually playing WWMonk.
EU has a FOTM Problem and not many ppl main WWMonk its more like a subpick for ppl playing Warrior,DH,Rogue
But as u can see the Monk Players out there are playing WWMonk.
5 WWMonks are in Glady Range
3 Warriors
14 DH etc
Monk is not bad people just dont slot it into the Team u can play almost tge same Stuff with Havoc or Rogue what fits better into that Meta also Season is still relative young
That’s my point, monk has nothing on dh, rogue or now warrior with the buffs.
They remove burst damage and what does it have left, everything can now out-burst monks in the arena. Yet we’re not tanky enough to withstand being focussed.
honestly idk how bad you must be but since ww monk got nerfed = it becomes my new main tbh… because before (everyone can agree) it was too op on burst, now it has more consistent damage and i dont think Monks need any, any changes what so ever. you can kite melees with the double port + 3 rolls and dash forward, good mobility and good survivability against magic damage, up to 60% reduction + it reflects the dots back to attacker if possible, double check the spells that you have or can have… cuz it seems like you not playing the class properly
overall monk vs everything… the only problem for me is arcane mage cuz im getting constantly slowed and he still runing but fire/frost arent that bad tho
ye i know what you mean but its not a big deal cuz nobody is forced to pick only the last ones, also my warrior not use spear spell, i prefeer other abilities so its pretty much the same example as monk
edit: actually i think its better that way how it is now for the monk, because you no longer suffer for removing any ability to catch into the last spot xD like at some classes im forced to go other direction to get completly down for get what i need, now we can remove anything and get the same thing in the middle of talent tree (thats just way of looking at - from the good side)
this is completely true, any of these classes will have a better experience in arenas than monk. Monk seems fine in solo shuffle but the game shouldn’t be tuned for solo shuffle if 3s is the only way to get glad and the only competitive mode (with real competitions).
In the NA awc, 2 teams had ww’s. The ww’s provided no real pressure, no burst and nothing really game changing. Suffice to say they were both knocked out. If they’d switched them out for a DH/assassin/DK in fact most classes, things would have gone better. I barely saw the enemies health bar move when WW was meant to be having ‘it’s go’.
I don’t get what the WW is meant to bring when you have DH’s out there, which has insane dps/self healing and better mobility, 3xCC’s.
Where as it used to be a glass cannon, it’s more a glass nerf gun.
Edit - also TOD, which has like 10 talents attached to it, failed to fire multiple times in those matches.
