too expensive for prebis too long to get prebis and within first two weeks of mc all replaced the idea of upgrading them and spend the gold on it is just not good idea at all. all items will be replaced not going to spend 1.5k gold for items not even staying with me 2 weeks

Yap That’s been mostly the case with these sets in classic.
These sets only exist to annoy the tryhard minmaxers. Like the DMF trinkets in p3.
I will also just stay with some basic lvl 60 dungeon gear without any of that prebis nonsense.
Worth to farm them but. farming them for 3 days stright for 1 piece and then need to get other set and after that all i need to farm other quests to upgrade them and spend gold to able to upgrade them is the most disrespectful way for players

Most of the case you’re right - it’s not worth the effort if it will be replaced by something in MC - using mage as an example t0.5 Helm + wrist combination is BiS for the whole p1, and that is worth it.
Having things in the game which allow people to push harder is good, not everyone has to do it and it’s not required for MC but it’s no harm to you as you can choose not to do it.
With 20 ppl in your raid even if you dont have a single turnover it will take a minimum of 3 to 4 weeks to gear a single class depending of tokens drop rate , because ou can get for example 2x hunter shaman tokens at the same boss.
What gold will be used for except consumables once you have bought fast mount?
If you just like to clere MC, no 0,5 don’t do much.
if you like to push for heat lvls soner then later, i really hope the extra power from 20 men is worth it, as some gear have a great deal extra power.
Than dont do it

very worth for shamans , 4 sets for the price of one. Especially since all dungeon mail gear is itemized for hunter

Yes! I made decision to do just first quest for wrist because dont have better option as resto druid even with raid gear u will still use it. But all others I really dont want to do any quest and could not care less.
A lot of the guys in my guild have completed 8/8 t0.5, absolutely worth it for pre-bis and for some classes bis whole of p1.
How is this Set for rogues, especially for PvP in Sod ? In classic it was broken until naxx is that true ? I dont know If i should farm it then
Darkmantle is amazing, the chance to get energy back is bis until naxx.
