They are doing this instead of not giving you any for 6 weeks like they did in the last patch.
So in 8 weeks with the new system you will have 4 charges.
In the last patch you have 2 charges at 8 weeks so which one is better?

I believe that what they are trying to say is that they wanted 1 charge each week starting from week 1.

The current situation is definitely better than how it was the previous seasons because one can at least get to 2 pieces from week 1 without amazing luck.

I wanted 1 charge per hour, but alas it wasnt to be.

Instead, I would had liked to have a window of uncatalysing the Item I turned into tier.
I catalyzed my helm and like an hour later, I became able to get a higher ilvl helm from the renown… /cry

So now I do not want to use my 1 charge of the catalyst just in case I might regret it later

Well there is also the case about m+ being one of the main end-game pillars now with its progression path and high-end m+ runners need the tier bonus just as much as raiders.
Before m+(introduced in legion). Yeah it was raid or die. Either you got the tier from raiding…or you didn’t. There was no alternative route.

I used catalyst on the 470 helm from AH and the 476 gloves from vault

No people quit because the system is boring, not the gearing. As soon as I get my 4th piece I’m not going to quit: that’s the moment I can freaking play the game fully ffs.

I wish they allow a leveling player to access the raider tier set, this can make leveling enjoy more and give players a glimpse into the gameplay of the class more completely.

Because not everyone Has Access to that gear. And people want powerful things espwcialy if their last season tier was on like 437 or lower.

Its extremely annoying that its not 1 charge per week from start

What happens if you scrap the catalyst and make people individually craft the set “they want” by using specific mats found at the end of the key chest or raid boss? one piece every week max, and the highest the keys the highest the tier piece you can craft (like 10 keys roughly you get a catalyst charge) and if you fall behind no worry you get a catalyst charge the following week as a catch up.
THERE, I fracking fix the player retention, the catalyst crying and the key leavers in one single idea!
