I just checked how many charges i have ( renascent dreams ) and it says 1. I asked another guy and he also said the same thing so is this normal, are we only suppose to have one right now considering theres been like 3 resets ?
Isnât this the week2 of the season? Meaning that thereâs been 1 reset, not 3.
Iirc you get a new charge every 2 weeks. This time at least they gave us 1 at the start, which is something I guess.

we are on 2nd reset and we used to have to wait 8 weeks before we got 1 so this system is better.

We had 1 week that was pre-season, and one reset now.
We are getting charges every 2 weeks, so we get the next one the upcoming reset.

You get 1 charge every 2 weeks, starting from week 1.
There has been 1 reset, meaning this is the 2nd week.
You will get the 2nd charge next week.
This is week 2 of the season. We get another charge next week, which is great⊠donât complain about it

Itâs not really a better system - you will later be angry you canât instantly catalyst an M+ reward. You will also have less charges to use for transmogs. In Vault and Aberrus seasons I would dump all my charges into mogging the sets from lfr/normal/heroic/mythic - you couild get 2 with 1 charge. e.g. get 402 item - catalyst - u get lfr appearance - then upg with flightstones to get normal aberrus appearance.
Now you wonât be able to do it as often, meaning you will miss out on many mogs.
You will also have harder time upgrading your tier pieces. Imagine getting M+ top ilvl equivalents every week - you will have a queue of items piling in your bags. Previous seasons you could have catalyzed every vault reward.

I wonât because I donât intend to waste my charges on low ilvl gear now.
Transmogs arenât limited to the current season. You can mog last seasonâs gear âfor freeâ in the next season.
Imagine getting that lucky.

They are doing this instead of not giving you any for 6 weeks like they did in the last patch.
So in 8 weeks with the new system you will have 4 charges.
In the last patch you have 2 charges at 8 weeks so which one is better?

It is better , simple maths and logic.
Last season no charges at all for 8 weeks
This season 1 charge every 2 weeks which means by week 8 you will have 4 pieces already and not just starting it.
6 Weeks 0 Charges last season.
6 Weeks 3 Charges this season.
And youâre saying the new system isnât better? This is Pre-School math, you should be able to do that atleast.
Itâs objectively better, its been explained to you. You will for sure have a 4 set now in 8 weeks. If you were unlucky under the old system it took longer.
God forbid it takes a while to gear up or people get fully geared have no goals and quit.

But during the entire season you will get way less charges than in the old system.
I donât want to catalyst my champ gear, so if I donât get hero drops in the right place, it doesnât open it up immediately.
The new system doesnât really allow me to temporarily use champ gear tier set without making me worry about when I can change to hero gearâŠ
Already was unlucky with my vault⊠had 1 mythic slot back, 2 hero slots with 1h weapon. So I thought, well back sucks, never get weapons to drop so better take weapon.
Boom run 1 +17 bloom and get the hero path 2h weapon to drop = gg

If we say the Seasonâs gonna last 6 Months and a Month has 4 weeks and you get 1 charge every 2 weeks.
That would be 2 Charges per Month
so 2 x 6 = 12 the current T-set has 10 pieces in addition to that you can upgrade most Items from Normal to HC and HC to mythic, which results in atleast 2 full sets of Transmog.
And even then all of that just goes out the Window, the second the new season is announced because at that point the Catalyst will be free to change all items from that current season.
Even if youâre trying to imply that you want 2 differnt sets 1 for PvE and 1 PvP, idk about you, but the set only goes up to 4, so thatâs still 3 different sets, if thatâs your concern.
