10-man mythic raid

Hi,
I am Stellion and im on a mission to have the discussion surrounding 10-man mythic.

#giveus10manmythicraid

I have seen on the forums for several years now many in the same situation that me and my friends have been in for a longer period of time. We raided mythic until the end of Shadowlands since we have the same issue over and over again until we just got tired of recruiting the whole expansion. Many guilds that have been playing together for a long time have the same issue where there are 13-15 dedicated players wanting to push mythic content and some just slacking and not motivated enough. There is also those who play the season 1 month then quit after they are semi geared. This causes a lot of tension and we have to change and now only raid HC. The problem now is that we clear HC and gear everyone up at a decent time and then have nothing, but alts left for the rest of the season which last 3-4 months. We want to raid together with long time friends and not have the difficulty be as easy as HC currently is. Most of our players are previous hardcore players that now don’t have the investment to join a mythic guild since it takes up too much time with gearing alts etc. but they are still very good players that can raid mythic.

Some of you might have seen me switching between streams posting “I’m on a mission! #giveus10manmythicraid” on several of the top wow streamers. The reason for this is to start the conversation over and over again since almost everyone wants this in the game. I want to talk about it and have a calm conversation about where it is presentable to the devs.

I can start off with the few topics that comes again:

BALANCING:
It has been 10 years since they removed it when it was an issue between 25/10-man tuning. The player base is now smaller and the game has been developed. If there is an tuning issue it should be able to be solved since they are not getting it right on the first try for 20-man now anyways.
If it is something regarding class buffs then it either can be removed or introduce back War-Scrolls. And it would be fun to see a guild clearing the raid with none of the meta or class buffs as a challenge.
RWF:
If this should be an issue make HOF 20-man only and release 10-man 4 weeks after the raids opens. Also it would be a lot more guilds or teams to watch in RWF if it was 10-man raid groups.

ROSTER:
Some think it would be easier for people to leave the roster if they don’t get a raid spot in the guild or if they are not happy with the situation. Then again for them it will be easier for all the new guilds that will be created to join somewhere else if so.

If any devs should see this message and want to explain why this has not returned since you can see people enjoying it in classic and as of now you can see people enjoy classic style more with Dragonflight or did I misunderstand?

Would love it, the less people the better. Even in M+ I would suggest just 3 players - a dps, tank and healer. Can’t even count the times one or two players completely ruin others experience by sucking.

It would have to give higher rewards than hc but far lower than 20 man or at least 20 specs and half classes would never enter mythic again.

Leave the loot the same but release it a couple of weeks to a month after the world first race has ended, then you still get the initial rush and competition but people who can’t find/coordinate 20 people get a chance to go in later.

So give people opportunity to waste time gearing up chars that will become obsolete after few weeks? It would completely kill Shamans, Hunters, DKs, Evokers as classes and specs like Retri, Feral, Guardian, Brewmaster

If you watch the vid… Max already discusses the issue with 20v10 man based on knowledge from WOTLK. The issue around buffs, class diversity, spec ratio’s etc was all discussed. I honestly genuinely believe, scrapping 20 man and making it 10 man and 5 man game would be good for the game.

They would have to homogenize some class buffs so you can have more classes with buffs but that would solve a range of issues we have with 5 mans too.

They refuse to balance 10 and 25 man, it is too hard according to Blizzard.

it might solve a lot of problems for guilds if it would be 10 man, though also create new ones at same time, question is what is better keep it 20 man or try out 10 man.

considering there is about 30k people who has cleared mythic this season arround 1350 guilds according to wowhead, even if that site is not 100% accurate the number is low, even if wow only would have 1 miljon people playing the number is realy low.

would love 10 man mythic get 20 player hessel for wat it is 10 man mythic way better less players worry about

I always preferred 10 man as it gives people individual responsibility instead of “you ten go here, the other dozen go there”.
But I’m not sure it would help with the roster. Instead of 18 online we might simply have 8 and the result would be the same: nobody can play.
If you have 13 dedicated people who have been around since the beginning, some of them will quit since those kind of players won’t put up with being benched regularly.

Blizzard killed around 80 % of guilds 10 man. I can promise alot players will come back for 10 man. Remember that Paragon guild couldnt continue due to no 10 man. (:-
