10 man raid lockouts are completely broken

Know there are more topics about this, but I’ll pile on.

  • 1st raid FINE: Wiped on Magmaw HC all night
  • 2nd raid FINE: Swapped 1 player! Killed Magmaw HC + Omnotron Normal + Wiped on Atramedes HC.
  • 3rd raid BROKE: Swapped another player in! (12 players in total touched this id so far). We immediately start seeing some errors trying to zone into the raid. Remaking the raid group “fixed” it though - we get in, proceed to try Atramedes on HC, after 1 wipe the new player is unable to zone in again due to having a separate raid lockout id.

Note that this player was able to zone in with the rest of the raid and was part of the first HC attempt. Unable to zone in again AFTER. This player was not locked to any other raid id.

This player was only able to join our raid if we set it the raid to normal mode.

Some actual acknowledgement of the issue would be great!

Sure, keep making more threads to pollute the forum and hiding usefull advice given in other threads on the topic.

Ive now written workarounds to this bug in multiple threads, now im done.
If you want to be helpfull, you can keep the discusssion going in the already existing threads on this topic, making new threads wont do anything but make it harder for CMs to collect feedback, and for players to find usefull info about the bug.

Yeah, the issue here is the players making threads in frustration and annoyance over this and not Blizzard’s refusal to fix or acknowledge the bug in any way…

We tried all of yours, and everyone else’s suggestions. Didn’t work. I want to bring attention to this issue as it is very frustrating for any guild.

I’ll continue to make noise (as much as I am allowed to) until someone that can actually make a change notices it :).

Either way, I shouldn’t have to try silly “workarounds” such as yours:

Just leave raid group, and try to enter the raid with heroic mode turned ON. Keep entering, creating nee raid groups with different leaders until one is able to enter.

We tried this with every single raid member starting the raid themselves, the “bugged” character was never able to join any of the raids. So no, this isn’t a “workaround”.

Might not work for everyone or you gave up too soon.

But spamming forums with new threads about a known issue does nothing but drown out the suggestions that might help others.

Making noise is just a childish reaction, 99% its completly non constructice and just completly counter produktive to getting your point out

Nah, I like it.

Still bugged afaik. Blizz should really look into this.

And blizzard knows about it. Shouting instead of participating in constructive discussion arent helpfull

We pay every month, because we want to raid.
We cannot raid. We make noise.
