A dungeon taking 45+minutes is not fun, hard or challenging. It’s just tedious and boring and makes me wanna quit.
Maybe make heroic+ affixes scale with average group ilvl.

Maybe we could get a key that defines the difficulty of the Heroic? And if you complete within a certain time limit you get a higher level key.
Oh but instead of the loot having a better item level with a higher key, keep it the same with every key.
I did Halls of Stone HC+ last night when it wasn’t the daily (I’m farming the dps ring), which means I got into a group of gearing up players. My Warrior (ilvl225 equipped) was dps, the tank had 26k HP and was a paladin, naxx geared mage, pvp geared feral druid, didn’t check the healer.
The whole dungeon was spent balancing doing enough dps while trying to not pull agro, we only beat the tribunal event by an inch as we wiped, the tank could not keep up at all, I had to increase my dps output to the point I was constantly pulling agro, but we were getting overrun with adds, and then they got swarmed when I died.
The fact is that it’s unreasonably hard for a gearing group, I carried the run hard and if I had not been so geared we wouldn’t have cleared it, the tribunal would end it. That’s the problem with HC+, it’s easy if you’re geared and if you’re not geared it’s entirely unreasonable to expect a pug to manage.
I’m never doing Halls of Stone again on a non daily.
Never do HoS although I have some choice words for HoL and Loken specifically. While the nature of his fight makes the gimmick aspect of HC+ relatively unnoticeable the sheer tripling of his HP means you’re in a drawn out fight you have to play perfectly due to his mechanics. Be a half a second to slow on running from Nova? Unless you’re a tank or bulky DPS you die. He decides to cast Lightning strike immediately after Nova and you were nicked by it or the healer couldn’t heal everyone in time from the pulse? You die. And you waste extra 5 minutes running through dungeon again.
Also words of hatred to whoever sadist made being webbed an automatic Aggro drop. I still don’t know what is the best approach to that since obviously you can’t stack close to tank to let AoE drop webs as the second tank gets webbed someone dies.
This is boring because even if there +100% HP, because they don’t do any damage you can spam AoE and not forced to use your spell to cc.
So yes, this buff is useless and should be nerfed to 50%
Maybe you start running HCs like normal people and once you are geared enough do a Naxx 10 to compliment your current gear and then start doing HC+?
Affixes do need some tweaks:
HP buff isn’t that bad. It does make dungeon longer but loot is from raid which has weekly lock, so I think it’s fair deal.
It really is very stupid, The tank should not be getting wrapped.
You realize futility in that? If you use Tier 7 10 man raids to gear up you’re likely getting better stuff than you’d get in HC+. Therefore giving you less reason to run HC+ outside of the daily.
Also not that running regular Heroics is easy thanks to the fact large portion of people, that was running only dailies for the emblems/gold does that on HC+ due to better rewards.
Talk is easy, Noone wants to do normal heroics since they can just swipe and join a naxx 25/uld.
Nah I just think it shouldn’t automatically drop aggro on us. I mean I do get that invincibility skills do that (not sure if it worked that way in the past) but in groups (especially if you decide to stack) it basically spells doom when multiple mobs just hit the second highest aggro and kill them instantly. Hell decently geared group I was in ultimately opted to skip a boss in OK since 4 mobs at once almost always webbed me before we even put a dent into the group.

The more I read about these dungeons, the more I think they’re designed with annoyances in mind to hurdle geared people from facerolling them to farm emblems.
Moreover, the newly capped can try to run a couple normals / heroic, spend 500 coin on some enchants, and go all do Naxx - hit 3.8 and then chance your arm at the final spots of an ulduar run ( that is, if you don’t have a guild that would gladly carry you. )
I doubt HC+ is there for new characters.
Me with like 4500 GS almost gets one shot by the UP Ice patches, Can’t imagine a new dinged.
Rewards say otherwise though. Considering 10 man t7 raids are clearable with less than perfect gear you’d think the HC+ dropping same gear wouldn’t be that troublesome And yet… Seriously when you see Greater Blessings not lasting entire run even with decently geared party it goes obnoxious. Hell last run on HoL the hour long flask did not last xD
That’s your lack of knowledge about the mechanic rather than mechanic being overtuned itself. If you stretch the ice path by moving as soon as you get it, each part of it will deal significantly less damage.

Yeah this. Had a 3.1k gs with us in UP HC+ and even he didn’t get one shot from the ice. Just move lol.
Yeah the only annoying parts of that are enemies that can stun or snare you in short succession. Had few deaths on Ymiron when the Fear and Glaciate happened at the same time. Thankfully all happened to DPS and not the healer so we could finish the fight (although depending on gear and when it happens it could lead to a wipe due to Ymiron’s soft time limit).
You can buy all the gear you need to do H+ from the AH, nothing wrong with them. If you are in a group that demands a certain ilevel or skillscore that you don’t have, then find another one, or make your own, no big deal.
