Yet again Blizzard ruined transmog for no reason
First they`ve made it in 10.0.5 with Wrathion backpack now they applied same rules for xmog for Iskaaras backpacks
Only exception is Paw Packs which still shows your weapon
Blizzard better reverse all of these nonsense changes or AT LEAST add an OPTION where you can choose between hiding/showing your weapon if cosmetic backpack used as xmog on your character

I hate when my sword going trough my cloak I think they will never fix that. We are stuck in 2000.

The thing i hate with all these “changes” is that farming them
building some cool xmog combinations and then new patch ruins it everytime
First with wrathion backpack now with Iskaarans
Like if you planning to make work this way do it from the beginning so well know if it worth it to spend time on it Im not against those ppl who likes cosmetic backpacks which hides weapons,but do it from the begnning or dont change it as long as youll not add an option to swap between hide/show weapon
I agree in spirit, thought I think the texture clipping will look so bad with some weapon / back piece combo.
For example I love some of the SL back pieces, but where would the 2H weapon go when sheethed? Between the back and the piece? Over the piece? Both will look odd, I don’t really have the answer. I’d imagine it’s quite simple for them to give us a box to tick that enables / disables this…
Right?! Nearly all armour now has amazing and unique 3D texture, and is no longer a layer of body paint! The baseline of the cloaks though still feels like vanilla. A rectangle (or some shape variation) that goes over our traps and hangs only alongside the spine. I’d love to see cloaks that actually go over our shoulders (Arthas and Maeiv model for example) but once again I think the clipping animations will be maddening! I suspect very much this being an old game engine thing, quite difficult to get the flowing physics correctly with every movement for soft fabrics, long hair etc…
I mean for classes which using their weapon in combat its important to show weapon (from my perspective ofc)
Like hunter,rogues,warriors etc.
For example im OK if i can`t show my weapon on mage most of the time
But then i build up xmog combos now i logged in and i see my weapon is hiding under cosmetic backpacks
Just give an option turn on/off showing weapon and thats it
Having an option is always better than not having it
Theyve made huge steps in characters customization
But these things still lacks of attention they need

I hated that about the Shadowlands back transmogs and now they ruined the backpacks too… Booo!!
As I said, completely agree on paper, I’m just a bit concerned how these will translate for some tmog combos.

I chose that weapon specifically and I want it to show, though with that back piece… How would that look like seethed? I’d like to have the option to see it, though not sure what would annoy me more, not seeing my weapon on my back at all, or seeing my weapon my back constantly clipping the back piece?
They tuined them too
I wish there was a toggle too. I’d love to be able to wear my gnoll backpack and it hide my bow, because my bow clips through my ponytail and as a hunter it seems just wrong to not have a ponytail.
Well see?You want it to hide but its the only type of backpacks now which NOT hiding weapon and i like
Its probably my last shelter for such type of cosmetic cloaks
But they`ll not listen something from what i typed but ofc they changed it in the other way
So adding toggle its the only solution for that
Precisely. I’ve had to opt for a different backpack, whereas that one on my monk would be great to show the staff I think. It’s very wanderer-esque. Give us two versions!

Its ok that you dont care about something you are not interested
But this is the problem which needs a solution since they its already happened in previous patch
Although you haven’t really given a clear description of what your problem is in your OP. I’m assuming its something to do with Weapons not appear along side Backpacks.
It’s not really game breaking. And tbh, it’s probably fixing a bug rather than being a bug.

why it happened to wrathion backpack first and then suddenly they applied same changes to DF backpacks (except pawpack which im glad at least i can use them now)
Again if something is related to cosmetic category it should stay as it is or needs to be given an option
Because probably other ppl wouldnt spend their time to get that
I`ll talk on my behalf if i saw that my weapon not appear from these backpacks i wouldnt even pay 5min trying to get them
Problem is simple
they changed it due to they dont wanna deal with weapon clip+backpack
Instead of giving simple choice where you can choose between show/dont show weapon
Where you can choose between weapon on back or on your belt
And i agree its not a game breaking things,but if you collect all of those “not a game breaking things” well then in the of the day they are actually game breaking
People worry too much about cosmetics.
We have all this new content to play in this new patch, and someone is upset about their weapons not clipping through their backpack anymore.
Well can say the same about that so-called content with super-giga-mega stormy elements which rewards recolored armor
and so on
Not for everyone this game is based around cutting edge/top parsing
Im personally one of those ppl who enjoy to play world content and getting toys/cosmetics
Well if they can find time always to fix something that affects their income
i believe they can find a time to fix such simple things too
