I think the problem is Shamans especially Elementals are to tanky and to lose Earth Shield brings us in line with other classes defensives.

Elemental Shaman and too tanky? Choose one. You survive thanks to kiting now.

I like most of the changes but one thing bothers me:
Why do I have to pick chainheal now to get Earthshield?

I am Ele PvP player and if there is one thing I don’t need at all, it’s chainheal.
Its better like it is right now, wehre I can get to Eartshield via Lavaburst > Earthelemental > Earthshield

While I agree what you say with Improved Lightning Bolt removal we end up with 1 more talent to spend in the tree actually. So it’s actually better but yeah we end up with useless Chain Heal.
