Hi folks! I was wondering if there already was a release date for the next patch, I’ve seen speculations on different websites that it may be the 17th of January but couldn’t find an official release date. Have I missed something?
There hasn’t been an officially date beyond January. Most are guessing based off the usual number of weeks a patch is on a ptr. Also it will be on a tues/wedsnesday so 17th is wrong.
Wowhead claims it’ll be the 9th of January, 10th for us in that case…? I don’t think I’ve seen official confirmation from Blizzard themselves tho.

Well that date makes sense because if you look in the ingame calendar outland cup starts on the 11th on january and it’s listed as a feature for the patch.

Could also be the 3rd. But yeah, I think that’ll be the date. 10th of January.
Yep, my guess is wowhead’s date is correct in that sense 
It’s just a bit odd that there has been no official announcement afaik if the patch will go live so soon.
Probably due to Xmas and New Years.

One of the selling points of the Patch is the Outland cup according to the roadmap, and i doubt they would push the patch as early as the 3rd. The only reasonable date would be the 10th, exactly before the 11th wich is the cup.
The only thing I know is my entire guild hopes it comes asap, because I’ve been saying “patch when?!” in guild discord every day for twoish weeks straight as I’m quite excited for it and it’s becoming a meme, to the GM’s dismay.
